10/5 sooo – Please hear me out: I was deathly scared of motorcycles. But the loop can be safe and cultural and non-party: I contacted every tour group I could find and the owner of Ha Giang Legends, Linh, was the only one that actually listened to my concerns and helped me. She is extremely accommodating and also helped me make sure my laundry was done before my bus left. Linh answers sooo fast in English with any detail necessary, and she even organized all the buses for us. Honestly, I feel like she undercharges for the trip — she even invited us for dinner and to sleep for free before the tour. They care about safety and the customer and not the money. Quality over quantity!!
The tour was great! Amazing views!! And lots of culture!! The drivers were rly safe and made sure we all wore our protection gear correctly if we wanted to — and the gear itself was great quality! Two of them spoke very good English and explained everything we saw. The others tried with their broken English and were very, very sweet and friendly. My driver Zuang helped me on and off the bike every time and asked me regularly if I’m okay. We never spent more than 30 min on the bike since we constantly took breaks – to go to viewpoints, hiking, boat trips, waterfalls, swimming etc!! We even got a little Ha Giang passport to collect stamps in!! When it did rain they all made sure that we had rain covers and didn’t get wet at all!
The views were absolutely amazing and the food was always too much but very good! We were a group of 8 – although we were never more than 6 people since two groups of two people did the 3-day instead of 4-day tours. In the evenings we all got together to play games or sing karaoke and sometimes even the drivers joined! The whole vibe was chill, friendly, and very local-focused, not a party scene at all.
The rooms were very nice and the beds were very comfy!! I’m not sure what else to say than it was great!! And Linh is absolutely amazing!! I’d give 10/5 stars if I could!! More people should know...
Read moreHa Giang Loop Legend is THE best company to do the loop with if you want to avoid big crowds, have a real experience and feel safe the whole time. It’s a relatively new company, but everything they offer is top quality. At first, I wasn’t sure I even wanted to do the Ha Giang loop — I had read so many mixed reviews about other companies: huge groups, poor accommodation, too much partying and alcohol... Then someone recommended Loop Legend, and after some research, I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did — it was an amazing experience from start to finish.
Linh, the manager, is pure kindness, professional, and helpful. She made everything so easy. The packages are really well put together, and the homestay before the tour is super clean and brand new. Transfers were also arranged for me (from Sapa to Ha Giang, and then from Ha Giang to Hanoi) using VIP buses, which is quite rare and really comfortable— it was all very smooth and stress-free.
The tour covers all the must-see spots, but avoiding the crowds. Group sizes are small, which makes a huge difference. The accommodations during the tour were great, and there was always plenty of good food. They really think of everything: we had water, safety gear, brand new helmets, towels and even ponchos for the rain. Every little detail was taken care of, which made the whole experience even better.
My easy rider, Doan, was amazing: super professional, kind, and a very safe driver.
Honestly, 5* don’t feel like enough. Ps: I’m writing this review because I genuinely loved the experience — no one asked me to do it (which is rare these days). I can only recommend Loop...
Read moreWe had such an amazing experience we Ha Giang Loop legends! After looking at a lot of different companies online, we chose this company because: they put safety first small groups (it ended up being just the 2 of us, which was amazing!) focused on learning about local culture and not partying great price We loved our experience because, on top of everything I mentioned above: we had two fantastic easyriders! Our English speaking guide, Giang, was especially lovely and he genuinely took the best pics of us that we have from being in Vietnam we got to do everything at our own pace and never felt rushed or pressured into anything they really cared about us and were constantly checking that we were ok and had everything we needed, they even brought us medicine when one of us wasn’t feeling well we felt super safe, even when it was rainy we were able to stay for free in the hostel before and after the loop which included dinner and breakfast after as well!!! We felt really well taken care of the entire time and enjoyed our experience immensely. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time, and yes, there was still happy water and karaoke!
Also, the owner told us that when they hit 500 customers (they’re around 400 now) they’re going to plant 5000 trees to help prevent land erosion! They’re a very socially conscious company and are genuinely trying to support the community around them :)
Thank you to Linh,...
