Blue Diamond Cruise — Hotel in Hạ Long City

Sadly, I have to strongly advise NOT TO take any tours with this company. The boat was old, dirty and used up. The room was ok, pretty clean, but that was about the only positive experience within the entire cruise. Onboard restaurant was a straight up scam - no buffet just pre-prepared meals which were all tasteless, bland and small in size. There was no menu to choose from. The boat took us to the less interesting spots, where the sights were mediocre at best, similar to what you could see from the coast. They have been transferring the guests to the main boat by some extremely outdated, smelly barque which proces has altogether lasted more than an hour. In my opinion, considering accommodation, service, food, sightseeing it was not worth even a single dollar and we have paid 120$ person/night. Never in my life have I experienced a scam this big. Avoid this company at all cost, if you don’t want to waste time and ruin your trip to the beautiful...

The scenery and kayaking are great experiences, but I'm sure you can do that on any cruise ship in the area. The crew itself are friendly and professional. The boat is not worthy of 5 stars, though. The rooms are nice, and the beds are clean, but they could clean the bathrooms a little better. There were sand and leftover hairs in the tub from the last clients. The food is ok... It's not the best tasting. If you need to use wifi for work, definitely avoid this cruise. There is no service anywhere on the boat except the dining area, and that is slow wifi. The outside furniture and the boat itself are a little run down and are needed...

It says 5 star but it’s actually just a very nice 3 star accommodation. The staff was friendly and did their best, but not a ton of communication. Me meals were ok. We were handed a schedule sheet but it was all in Vietnamese 😅. Schedule a bit rushed on the single night tour.

If you just relax and enjoy the beauty, it’s very nice, but don’t expect real 5 star service.

Also note there’s a 40 minute boat transfer from the dock.
