The worst hotel I've stay in my life!||This should be hostel or one star hotel but not three hotel like the sign in front of the building. The corridor looks dark and unwelcoming, it even full of food smell all the time (it make your clothes terrible smelly). Room and facilities are all old and dirty: All towels are tear, bed sheet turn their color from white to yellow with some "dot" like blood. The mattress too old and not comfortable at all. We have bathtub in our room but don't have the blocking water for the bathtub, so bathtub means nothing. We can't connect to wifi at anywhere in the hotel||Staff unfriendly and lack of hospitality training. The first day when I staying here I have been woke up by the noisy from the corridor, When I open the door to look out, my eyes was open wide because staffs put full of bed sheets, towels on the corridor, working with it while non-stop gossiping, laughing, playing music with their smartphone. The second day I put the board "please help to cleaning the room" in front of my room before I leave in the morning. When I back at 1pm, the board still be there, my room look exactly when I leaf. And then at 2.30pm when I am sleeping with my baby, they ring the doorbell two times consecutive, it make us instantly jump up and stand still in a vertical position in the bed with our ears open wide, the housekeeping then said that they need to cleaning the room now, my husband ask them to come back later because my baby still sleeping but they say no, let they do now or they do nothing. We kept the door open for them to come in, but in the next 30 minutes they just nonstop gossiping at the corridor and laughing until I go out to remind them the reason they woke us up. And all they did is change the towels in the bathroom, they even didn't empty the waste basket in room and cleaning the floor until I find them to ask||They have buffet breakfast with limited choice of food. Remember to wake up early if you want your breakfast because it finish very soon||Location seems too bad because the hotel far from the beach, far from shopping center. You certainly has nothing to do or entertain when staying here. I would never come back to this...
Read moreTA currently lists this hotel as 3.5 star, but I would say it's more like 2-stars. ||We were to be on a 2-day, 1-night Halong Bay cruise. However, due to poor weather, we were not permitted to stay on the ship overnight. So they placed us in this hotel instead. ||||Note that people from different cruises, who paid for different class levels, were placed in this hotel. So keep that in mind if you pay luxury prices, and your cruise gets rained out. ||||On top of this, there is really nothing to do around the hotel. We basically had to kill time that night, and half of the following day before shuttle buses were ready to pick us up. If you end up stuck here, I suggest you get massages in the area - but not the one right across from the hotel as they quoted us abusive "white tourist" rates. Although we did not go, there is apparently a night market in the area, but not within walking distance.||||If your tour operator tries to put you up in this hotel instead of staying on the cruise, request that they just shuttle you back to Hanoi instead - your time is better...
Read moreThank goodness that my trip to Hanoi we ONLY have to stay a night in Ha long so that we could catch the morning cruise to Ha Long Bay.||Boy! the hotel facade looks promising but once you exit the lift to your respective floor, you are greeted by musky smell and old furniture in the lobby. Room was reasonably size but the bed was as hard as cement floor. Though cleanliness was alright, the bath room and towels have much to be desired. Even the screw on the door latch was loose.||||Breakfast was simple but the bacon, ham and sausages were so hard to chew. Had to throw the meat out. Thank goodness there was bread and jam and sandwiches. coffee and Tea was so diluted that i think water would suffice.||||Bluesky Hotel Ha Long definitely do not deserve the 3-Star Rating. if you can please avoid staying...
