Merit Hotel — Hotel in Hạ Long City

The hotel is exactly what we were looking for: clean, quiet, cosy, reasonable price and very comfortable. From the entrance to our room was spot on, the location is so quiet compare to most hotels in Vietnam, our children, my wife and I found ourselves slept through our jet lag period. The staff and owners were so welcoming that we felt it was our home and managed to share our drinks and food into the night. Like most wonderful hotels that we have been to (20 countries over 25 years!) Merit Hotel is very comfortable, from the bathroom to amazing bedroom, the whole experience was so rewarding that we stayed there more than once! Finally, we would love to recommend Merit Hotel to all our friends and family from UK & Japan. If you have a chance to visit Halong Bay, please pop in, the location, the view, the price, the smile....everything you wish for in a holiday. Can't wait to...

This was our first stop on our two week vietnam trip . ||FIrstly Dung and his staff welcomed us with a smile making u feel very at home . We were very impressed with the standard of accommodation, the bed is huge and very comfortable the room is very clean .||Dung has arranged our whole itinerary for our stay in Vietnam , including hotels transfers and internal flights. ||Everything has been amazing , our cruise on Ha Long bay was breathtaking. Our transfer to Denang and flight and hotel are all excellent and, we have had trips to Hoi an and the golden bridge . All in our first week , everything has gone to plan. Excellent visit so far to Vietnam. |Dung took us to local restaurant where we tried traditional food. Also took us to local Pho place for breakfast; definitely a must try. |We just got our flights and Dung has arranged a fabulous itinerary; from transport from airport and internal flights. Taking in Hanoi, Sapa, Halong with boat trip, then we will be flying tomorrow to Danang for a few days by the beach. Dung also arranged hotels in each area and the trips. |Would definitely recommend Dung to arrange your visit. |Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable .... marvellous...
