Poseidon Hotel — Hotel in Hạ Long City

I booked a stay at this hotel based on the Agoda listing which stated free drinking water was provided. However, when I inquired at the front desk about the water, the staff member insisted I had to pay for it, even after I showed them the information from the app. This was a deceptive practice and false advertising.

But the real issue was the complete disregard for guest privacy. In the morning, the hotel staff simply opened our door at 9am while we were still asleep! The staff member then reminded us the checkout time was at 11am. This is completely unacceptable - you cannot just barge into guests' rooms without permission. It was a violation of our privacy and a terrible way to wake up.

Overall, this hotel stay was a massive disappointment. The false advertising, rude staff, and complete lack of respect for guests make this a place I would strongly advise others to avoid. I expect much higher standards of service and accommodation from a hotel. This experience was...

We stayed here 5 days, and they gave us the penthouse room with amazing view on the ocean. The family who own the hotel are super super nice, helpful and generous. They provided us with extra stuff for our personal requirement. the room were super clean, well furnish and spacious. definetely a good deal for the price. only downside is that you better have a bike to drive around, theres few local restaurant, corner store and coffee shop in the neighborshood but the hotel is located outside of downtown..which make it more quiet if its what you are...

Really nice hotel and family! They invited me to dinner with them the first night I was staying here and were incredibly friendly. The room was so good for the price and even had two large beds. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Ha Long and recommend...
