Kim Co Hotel 2 — Hotel in Ha Tien City

We took a taxi from Phnom Penh to Ha Tiên, where we were supposed to catch the ferry to Phu Quoc Island. The operative word is supposed; of no fault of ours as we were pulling up to the dock, our 1pm (13h00) ferry was pulling off. There was a nice guy, that gave us information - he also happened to work at the Kim Co. Not a problem, since we were just there for one night. It saved us the hassle of trying to figure out where to stay. The room was adequate - he told us the price of the room up front and and let us see it before we agreed to stay there. Both, big points with me. The rooms are your standard rooms - bed, bathroom, tv, etc. Wifi is free with your room. We booked one night, as a stopover between Cambodia and Phu Quoc. And for the price we were pleasantly surprised!||Room was big with a comfy bed. The AC worked brilliantly, even had to turn the temperature up as we were cold! ||The bathroom was clean and the shower had warm water, and was the most powerful I've experienced in 7 months of being away from the UK! ||The wifi was great too, even managed to stream a movie online before falling asleep!||Only downside was to be awoken by staff being extremely loud at 6.30am, however I am an early riser anyway so this didn't bother me :)||If I need to stay here again before moving to HCMC, I'll probably...

We booked this expecting a place to sleep one night in transit. Not expecting much, just a bed. But it was fairly nice! Beds were comfy, TV was great, A/C worked perfect. The shower was awesome (although no shower curtain) But also a bath tub! Everything was fairly clean and the front desk was nice, although did not understand English too well. We booked a bus through them and through some mistake it didn't get booked, but they immediately put us on the next one with LOTS of apologies. They also overcharged us for the bus, but then figured it out and returned the money while explaining what happened. Very happy with the service! Nice...
