A beautiful homestay in an ideal location. Peaceful and serene, surrounded by beautiful gardens and mountain views.|The home is close to the town and set off the main road up a quiet laneway amongst local homes. All the locals were wonderful and always saying hello. This place is perfect for getting amongst the local culture away from all the touristy resorts.|Go for a walk around the maze of laneways from the home and you will see beautiful scenery, mountains, lots of friendly animals, and meet locals.|Go for a bike ride on the free bicycles and at the bottom of the lane across the road you are in amongst the beautiful rice fields. Follow the paths through the fields, and you come to many little traditional villages, which are great to explore.The homestay has a beautiful pool to relax and enjoy after a day of exploring. We loved it. The family was so lovely. They always made us feel so welcome. Thank you. BBreakfastwas fresh cooked each morning and consisted of homemade waffles, eggs, bananas, juice, and coffee or tea.|We chose to eat at the homestay each night because we just loved it there. The food was amazing. Fantastic choices. Fresh and tasty with big portions. |The room was big. Large comfortable bed with mosquito net. Great shower with good pressure and hot water. Loved having a drink on the balcony enjoying the scenery and the sounds of rural life.|We would highly recommend Mai Chau...

Hi hotels.com,||||Now have time to wrote this email to complain||Hope the email can reach you.||||1. i booked Mai Chau Rustic Home - Hostel - confirmed number on 9200884487273 on 29/may.||You cancel my booking abt 1h30 hours later by sending an email/ and notice on app. I wish you have the better to way to communicate to me. And poor me, i did not see.||||2. 30/May : Early morning, i called directly to this hostel to check early check in/ lunch/ convinent way to reach there. The lady told me she have room for me to check in/ and all thing is ready.||||And i bring family with 02 kids by 3.5 hours car to reach there. then no room for me of cource. They offer me other place nearby ( naturally i will have to pay). But too bad /unsafe place. so we have to come back home by another 3.5 hours.||My question:||||1. : when you cancel my booking- need the message/.phone call to me to cf that i got this cancel - Can you do it or can not do it?||2. When you return my monney?||3. You told the reason of cancelling is " hotel is closed on my booking day", but the reality is , itt still open. Can you tell truth to your customer. why you put this case to me?||||Hope to hear...

MAI CHAU RUSTIC HOME [Tổ liên gia số 4, Xóm Mỏ, Mai Châu, Hoà Bình, Việt Nam] Mình book qua booking tổng là 4tr1 cho 4 ngày 3 đêm. View ở đây rất đẹp, xung quanh là nhà sàn và núi, không khí cũng trong lành nữa. Đặc biệt là ở đây còn có bể bơi và rất nhiều góc để các bạn check in.

Về phòng, do mình đi theo nhóm 4 người nên được ở phòng lớn nhất, gồm 1 giường đôi, 2 giường đơn. Nhà vệ sinh cũng rất sạch nữa. Phòng mình ngay cạnh bể bơi luôn.

Về đồ ăn, các bữa sáng đều được free (gồm cơm rang, bánh mì và mỳ). Bữa trưa thì có menu rất nhiều món nhưng các bạn phải đặt trước 1 ngày để bên homestay chuẩn bị.

Về dịch vụ, mình cho 5 sao. Hai bác chủ nhà rất thân thiện, dễ tính, vui vẻ.

Điểm trừ là ở đây hơi nhiều muỗi. Tuy nhiên ở địa hình này thì cái đó không thể tránh khỏi.

The view here is very beautiful, surrounded by stilt houses and mountains, the air is also fresh. Especially, there is a swimming pool and many corners for you to photos.

About the room, because I went in a group of 4, I was allowed to stay in the largest room, including 1 double bed, 2 single beds. The toilet is also very clean. My room was right next to the swimming pool.

Regarding food, breakfast is free (including fried rice, bread and noodles). Lunch has a lot of dishes, but you have to order 1 day in advance for the homestay to prepare.

About the service, I give 5 stars. The two hosts are very friendly, easygoing, fun.
