Paradiso - Thiên đường Măng Đen Homestay — Hotel in Kon Tum Province

Wonderful, clean and tranquil environment, with outstanding hospitality!

My wife and I have been touring the mid-coast of Vietnam, by bicycle, starting in Hué. We decided that we would like to spend a few days in the central highlands, so we hired a driver with a 7-seater, put our bikes and gear in the back, and travelled up from Quang Ngãi, to Nẵng Den, in the highlands.

My wife, whitish Vietnamese, saw the great reviews for El Paradiso, on Google, and we booked over the phone. We arrived at this charming homestay, which consists of the main house/building, with a number of very cute, A-frame bungalows just below it. Each has a balcony and a view to die for!

Our charming Vietnamese hosts, Tiger and Fi Fi, greeted us warmly. Tiger helped to put the front wheels on our bikes, and he carried our panniers and bags to our cottage. The cottage was spotless, with good hot water and a large and comfortable double bed. As we were there in the cold season, a hot shower was essential.

We were invited for a delicious breakfast the next morning, after which we took to our bikes to explore the idyllic mountain town of Mang Den. We had booked a traditional Vietnamese BBQ for that evening, at El Paradiso, and we invited them to share it with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the fare, which included marinated pork, prawns, vegetables, squid, sweet potatoes, and of course, some beer to wash it down.
