Lesco Resort — Hotel in Phú Mỹ Town

Actually a decent resort in terms of physical appearance, a rest from the horrid surrounding area that is in the middle of a Industrial town. ||||Tennis and swimming is good, however nothing work inside the gym. Only free weights are actually usable, all machines broken and unsafe.||||The resort experience is completely ruined by the so so so poor service from staff. The French owner that lives on site just leaves is to the Vietnamese staff to do as they want. If there is a problem, it's your problem, the staff may even suggest it is your fault! Some are stupid, others are rude. The Chef can be seen picking his feet whilst cooking eggs at the breakfast buffet!||||There is one kind and competent staff member (treasurer come F&B manager) that will listen and try to help you, but I think she has an uphill battle with her own staff. ||||The "French restaurant" leaves allot to be desired, but the food is OK as is the Viet food. The Japanese/Korean food is terrible. If you stay longer than 3 days you will get fed up...

Our family including our three (10 y.o., 8 y.o, and 6 months baby) spent the week end at Lesco resort. It was a great value for money relaxing family break only 80 minutes drive away from Ho Chi Minh City.||This charming resort is opened on a wide green land. OUr kids enjoyed the large swimming pool, snooker, baby foot and free tennis court. The variety of simple -yet fresh and home made- Asian and wstern food delighted both Parents and kids.||Employee's attitude was always very polite, helpful and friendly. Our baby girl found several more momies and aunties to play with her and she enjoyed it very much.||On our way back I asked my kids this simple question:||-"Would you like to come here again for the week end ?"||Kids replied in chorus: ||- " yeaaaah !"||That was it.||So if you leave in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City or pass by Baria on your way from/to Vung Tao, just beware Lesco Resport is a both very pleasant and affordable hotel to stay into with family for a night...

I was there with a friend for one night on may 2015. It was difficult to find this hotel but it's worth it. ||Food was excellent and you have many choice between western food and asian food!
