We stayed here for 7 nights after a hectic 12 day tour of Vietnam.|We were originally booked in to a room overlooking to main road & although it was very roomy & comfortable it didn’t have the amazing sea view, so we swapped to the sea view room, which is recommended.|The room had 2 bedrooms, private shower, with dining room & terrace overlooking the lagoon.|The views were simply stunning, regardless of the weather. As we’d arrived at the start of the rainy season we did have a couple of quick thunder storms which we could watch from the comfort of our room.|On top of the amazing views, the art work that the owner Peter does is all over the walls and it adds a touch of class to the decor.|The young team who look after you are superb, with Chau being the main point of contact and she was lovely. Very helpful and gave us some great recommendations eg The Bee Farm, which we used the free bikes to cycle to approx 3 miles away. The pepper farm was a bit further so we took a taxi - use the Grab App, as so much cheaper than normal taxi.|Both excursions were interesting and we were able to purchase honey & pepper to bring home.|We also took the kayak to the beach which is only about 1-2 mins away. The beach is very disappointing in that there is a fair amount of rubbish on the white sand. I really don’t understand why people leave rubbish or the government don’t clean it?|A short 10 mins walk to the far right of the beach takes you to Chez Carole where you can use the pool, sunbeds & have food drinks. Use of facilities is only £3 per person.|Food at the hotel is great. All made fresh and ordered on the day. The portion sizes are massive though so be aware!|The pancakes & fruit for breakfast is our favourite.||All in all we cannot recommend this place enough. The team will do anything for you to make your stay a great one.|Thank you Peter,...

First of all, everything written positive by other reviewers here are true.
Phu Quoc in the past years changed so much - as an expat family living in Vietnam for many years we’ve been to many hotels and resorts but so far this place made us feel more relaxed as family.
No busy buffet breakfast, no overcrowded pools & beaches, no traffic, no schedule, no TV, no phones.
It was a reset from all the noise.
Although it worked for us and we loved everything - these are things you might consider.
The place is located on local area so, expect rubbish everywhere (not in the property) The wifi is spotty - if you need strong connection for work buy DATA. Since they are more on sustainable side, there’s no bottled water and tea or teacups for tea but you can buy outside. No towel hanger on bathroom. No packed toothbrush and toothpaste.
The restaurant is pricey for Vietnam.
I have invited some local friends to have dinner there as we know the food is good but all of them denied upon seeing the price of the menu 🤣
But we did have a good dinner and snacks as a family. My daughters loved everything 🫶🏻💕 it was huge servings so be careful when ordering.
All in all, I really want this place to operate for many years as it’s “one of a kind”. Highly recommended to those who want to experience a slow life in the countryside.
The hosts, Chau, Vinh and the whole team were very charming. Young owners making a difference in Vietnam Tourism Industry.
I really wish success to this place!...
Read moreIf you like to live a slow life or want to try a spiritual journey, then this hotel is very suitable for you. I appreciate and support their design style and environmental protection concept. If you like to watch the sunset, please come here. (I can't say it is the best place in life to watch the sunset, but I can guarantee that the scenery, design and sunset here will make you reluctant to leave! ) I recommend everyone to try the food in this hotel. The ingredients are simple, but they are unexpectedly delicious. I must say that the price is very cost-effective with the scenery and service! When you need help, such as transportation problems or itinerary problems, please ask them, they will give you advice and support, and try their best to make your journey perfect. *Please bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. (They provide shower gel, shampoo and hand soap. ) P.S: I don't really want to recommend it to you because I'm afraid I won't be able to book here in the future. Haha😆 But if you come to Phu Quoc, you must come to this hotel. I'm sure you will feel the same...
