This was our first time visiting the charming island of Phú Quốc just off the coast of Vietnam. We planned to stay at three different properties, and when we were taken to the Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa, it felt like we had finally arrived.

Everything that we could have possibly wanted and dreamed of was there. We were greeted by staff every day in a way that made us feel like we were part of a community, as opposed to just regular guests. Over the course of our stay, the amount of relaxation you want to seep into every part of your body on a true vacation, was truly made possible by staying at Green Bay.

Every part of this resort is carefully thought out to be part of the lush greenery that surrounds it. Our villa was the central comfort with spacious accommodation, bright decor and spectacular amenities. It was difficult to leave it every day, only because the villa's infinity pool meant you didn't have to go far to go swimming.

From the pristine white sand with crashing waves, to the tasteful delights of morning breakfast, scrumptious afternoon tea, and divine Vietnamese dinner, there really isn't anything more you could ask for. Oh, ice cream on the beach? No problem. The friendly gents at the pool shack will oblige with a variety of options.

You must take in the spa and indulge yourself in the treatments. Nothing is rushed. Instead, you are welcomed with a refreshing tea and a warm-soak foot scrub before melting away into the massage table.

This was a trip unlike any other, and when our third hotel fell short, it was a simple decision – let's go back to Green Bay. And so we did.

A few special mentions to staff who went above and beyond: Front Office Manager Ms. Tuong was more than generous and hospitable in helping us find the perfect room and view to suit our trip. Gio Restaurant Manager Ms. Xuan provided delightful conversations and not only suggested food to choose from the menu, but also offered to have the chef make something special just for us. Lady Palm Restaurant Mr. Vinh provided a delight to every day, chatting with us as if we were dear friends, and making the most incredibly romantic dinner on the beach a breathtaking reality. Under Ms. Xuan and Mr. Vinh's leadership, the restaurant staff exude warmth, kindness and generosity in a way that compliments their resort's overall vibe – to help make their customers' stay as enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable as possible. And a special shoutout to Mr. Khoa for making our romantic dinner enjoyable and helping with a special surprise!

If you're looking for a serene, tranquil place, with an impeccable atmosphere for relaxation, friendly hospitality, and to be surrounded by staff who greet you with kindness and a joy of being there, the Green Bay Phu Quoc Resort & Spa is where I highly recommend you go. I cannot wait to go back, and may have already booked my return trip after...

This place was as close to paradise as possible! From our personal greeting when we checked in through to the shuttle bus which was arranged for us on departure, everything was top notch.

Room - The hillside villa with a private pool was exceptional. We've been lucky enough to stay in some lovely resorts in our lives but this was by far the best room we've ever stayed in. The finish of each private villa was perfectly in tune with the resort's eco and natural ethos, with wooden finishes throughout. The spacious main room made way to a huge bathroom, an outdoor shower, an outdoor bath and a large private infinity pool with both loungers and outdoor sofas to take in the surrounding nature and breathtaking view. Cuisine - The breakfast provided the perfect mix of quantity and quality. Multiple separate stations existed with a mix of western and Asian options (e.g. Vietnamese soup and an egg station). We didn't realise upon booking, but a complimentary afternoon tea is offered with a small but satisfying selection of cakes and savoury options - a great bonus and something we looked forward to every afternoon. The bistro was closed for renovations during our stay for dinners, however we preferred to have the Asian cuisine anyway. There was a varied selection, of which we tried several dishes and were never disappointed. Spa - the tranquil spa offered a great variety of treatments for reasonable prices. It was very relaxing to spend a couple of hours there and we would highly recommend making use of this during your stay for some rest and relaxation Amenities - The resort offered a large variety of land and sea activities including paddle boarding, kayaking, tennis and yoga alongside a shuttle into the main town (all complimentary). The pool is large and overlooking the pristine beach, with coral reefs that we enjoyed snorkeling over. There is also a lovely beach bar to watch the sunset. Cleanliness - We cannot fault the cleanliness, from the room and the pool to all communal areas everything was kept very clean and tidy. As a resort surrounded by nature, there was some wildlife (e.g. geckos/dragonflies) in and around our room but they caused no issues. Staff - The staff were extremely friendly. You can communicate with the main desk via WhatsApp (or a traditional room phone) which made things very easy. Overall they were a highlight of our holiday, and would even come to pick us up with a golf buggy to take us around the resort when it was rainy - they really couldn't do more to make the stay special.

Our only regret is that we did not book to stay for longer. Thank you very much to the reception team (Truong, Hao, Tran, Tuyen) and the whole team for an unforgettable stay. We hope to be back in the...

Mostly a 5-star experience with our 5D4N stay. We had an ocean-view room with private pool. Housekeeping came in every morning and maintained the pool and our room immaculately. Personally, more lights and a full-length mirror in the room would have been helpful. Also, a first for me in all my travels around the world: ants on the bed. Not just one or two but a LOT. Seemed to refill every day we were there too.

Wifi was strong and reliable. Water was warm for showers, but the wand had little pressure, so you might want to use the rain shower. Toilet bowl was also unusually high and uncomfortable to use for both my 6'1" husband and I at 5'4". Loved that there was turn-down service, or at least the chocolate that was different every night with a thoughtful note written about it, though we only had the turn-down service once when we weren't in the room.

We had breakfast, tea-break, and dinner daily in the resort. The only time the food fell short was our first night. My beef and pepper dish and husband's curry chicken, both the meats were tough and overcooked. At first, we thought that this was the way of staying at a resort; great rooms and views but average food. We were glad that we went back the second night for dinner because they served Bahn Xeo and it was out of this world delicious! We didn't get the name of the server that night, but she was super helpful and friendly. A special shout-out to Vinh who served us at our last dinner and breakfast. He was professional, very attentive, and took initiative. I was impressed enough to look out for his name to make sure I mention him. You really shined, Vinh!

Breakfast spread and tea-time spread were mostly identical. Good enough. And one weird breakfast, we were seated at A7 and somehow nobody came to serve us. We waved to try to order coffee and eggs but the server responded like we were saying hi to them? Somehow, all the servers came up to A6 to work the tables and then walked away. As we had to leave for a tour at 9am, we couldn't sit around waiting to be noticed by the servers, so we left a little annoyed.

The beach was beautiful and quiet during our stay. The grounds outside the restaurant is IG-worthy. Staff at the front are perfect hospitality hosts: warm and welcoming. We loved that we knew what was happening, and they were punctual. Our transfers to and fro the resort were communicated clearly and in advance and time well-kept. The time we spent at Green Bay left a positive mark in...

I really wanted to share my amazing experience at Green Bay Resorts honestly, it blew me away. This was my first time staying at a hotel or resort that offered so many complimentary perks! From the moment we arrived, everything felt premium. They provide a free shuttle service depending on how long you’re staying. At check-in, we were welcomed with complimentary tea, and once we entered our room, we were surprised with welcome fruits, a bottle of wine, and even a 45-minute massage all included. Inside the room, they offered free coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, and water. Yes, all complimentary! Breakfast and afternoon tea were also included in our stay. One of my favorite features was their nightly laundry service, up to 10 pieces of clothing per night, which was so thoughtful and convenient. The resort itself is huge, so if you want to go to a restaurant or explore, you can call reception and they’ll send a golf cart to pick you up from your room. They also have a private beach, a few restaurants, and a massage/spa area. Snorkeling, yoga, kayaking, and tennis are all free you just need to book them in advance. The view is incredible, making it the perfect place to unwind. You can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The staff were all kind and polite, always serving with a smile. We even received a small gift of local chocolates made in Phu Quoc, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, this is one of the most highly recommended resorts in Phu Quoc. If you’re looking to relax, recharge, and be treated with care, this is the perfect place to go. They gave me take-out food upon check-out, and even provided a car to take me to the airport. Highly recommend 100/100

My wife and my self celebrated our honeymoon in Green bay resort for total 4 nights. The bottom line - it was wonderful! Reception service: great staff and great what’s up service. Special bugy car was available too taking us to our room ( the resort is big) Room :we took the most expensive room ( pool villa with ocean view) + breakfast + dinner or lunch per day. The room was really nice!! But there is a big bath that you cant fill completely with hot water because the stream is really low and the hot water capacity is not enough for it. The shower experience was not good enough for 450$ per night room. The housekeeper really tried to fix it, but unfortunately without success…besides the bath and the shower, the room was perfect. The bed was super comfortable, the private pool was great too. Food experience: Breakfast - the best breakfast we had in Vietnam. 10/10 Lunch / dinner - we booked a lunch or diner included once a day. There is a special menu including 3 courses per person. I must say the food is not the highlight in this resort. The quality is 6 from 10 at the top and everything is so expensive! The fix menu for the lunch or dinner is not good enough. Restaurant service - sometimes it was really frustrating experience. I was expecting that for 450$ per night, the staff should know English. In reality- few of them actually know how to communicate with us. We had 2-3 times that the food we ordered not arrived, the bill was incorrect or the waiter didn’t understand us. Pool and facilities- top quality. 10/10 Total 8/10
