Phu Quoc Blue Hotel — Hotel in Phú Quốc

The room is spacious, new and with beautiful marble floor. So is the shower. Loved staying at this hotel that offers a special rate of you stay long term. The TV has lots of channels, the AC is new and wifi is fast enough. My concern was how far the location was. You need to hire a scooter for seven dollars or walk to town takes an hour. There are two shops a minute walk away where you can buy basic goods and sandwiches. The scooter was great and it cost three dollars in fuel to travel to the north of the island and back. The highway to town is full of street vendors and a market which is twenty minutes walk away through a muddy road. Or walk twenty minutes north to the highway with the asphalt road. |The room looks so like a four star hotel than two star. This hotel needs a swimming pool and a restaurant to get more stars. The price is the best you'll find...

We were supposed to stay 10 days in this hotel but left 3 days earlier. At the beginning everything was fine, but when our rented, old motorbike had a flat tire and a loosened chain the atmosphere changed. From now on we were treated arrogantly by the young woman at the reception. She said that we are responsible for the damage, but in our opinion it happened because of the condition of the motorbike. Nevertheless, we paid for the repair, of course. But we didn't want to argue again about possible future problems with the bike and so we didn't use it again. Unfortunately, we couldn't rent a new bike somewhere, which is necessary for, for instance, going to the beach and so we will leave the island 3 days earlier...

I booked this hotel as my second one in Phu Quoc, however, i did not even stay there and went back to the first hotel I stayed.||||Arriving at the hotel everything was fine, until we received our room key.....
