Binh Minh Hotel — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

We stayed 2 nights in the VIP room, which despite having a balcony, separate sitting area and large bed was still astonishingly affordable. The room was overall relatively clean and comfortable (although the bathtub could have used a bit more of a scrub), and being the VIP room, very spacious. The balcony afforded a nice view of the beach and Doi Duong Park. Free buffet breakfast was included and had a nice variety of traditional Vietnamese foods (congee, banh cuon, pho) and traditional Vietnamese coffee (albeit a little too sweet, and I like my Vietnamese coffee super dark and super sweet!). ||||Wifi was available but spotty, and the best signal could be had on unsecured networks, which is not exactly the safest thing to use. There was no safe in the room, and although I don't travel with terribly expensive things, it would have given me better peace of mind to be able to lock away a few items. ||||I guess the bottom line - Binh Minh describes itself on its website as a 2-star standard, which I think is just about right. The Binh Minh is in a great location across from the ocean and great clean beach. A short walk to excellent fresh food and the locals are so friendly. The Binh Minh breakfast buffet is all you would imagine from a 4 star hotel.
