Securing three rooms (121, 122 & 124) with Radisson on June 7th, we envisioned a rejuvenating retreat to give us an opportunity to relax or savor first-class treatment while enjoying wonderful hospitality. Instead, we were subjected to one unfortunate incident after another that stripped us of the joy a pleasant stay would have provided. ||||Positives:||||- I might say were were quite impressed with the Radisson Resort as the rooms are spacious. ||||- As an escape from the stressors faced everywhere else, the frustrations of the hotel did not extend to the pleasant pool. ||||Negatives:||||- Room Conditions–Unforgivable Hospitality Deficits:||||From the moment we walked into the resort, we were greeted with the unpleasant overwhelming humidity within the rooms. Everything felt cumbersome, weighty, and damp. Furthermore, the decorations chosen for the room felt tacky and out of place as mold was visible all over. The towels were old, shockingly rough, and completely out of place in a supposedly well-maintained resort. ||||Room 121 was arguably the worst of them all. A strong, musty stench clung to the bed that made any form of slumber feel unrealistic. Dirty floors added to en unease felt the air and when we started looking for slighest of civility such as basic amenities, we uncovered the shocking set of vanity kit box completely empty only to later stumble upon its contents haphazzardly placed somewhere overcentered.||||- The room looked as if no effort had gone into its setup. ||||In room 124, there was no mess that was perhaps laughable in its nature—the face towel was so old and faded that one could argue looked like a used cleaning rag instead of a towel meant for guests. ||||Another mess was presented in room 122, designated as a connecting room with 123. Not only did the staff make no effort to organize the rooms for our group, but room 123 became incredibly noisy at night. At 10:32 PM, we attempted to reach out to the Front Office, hoping for some rapid help to none avail. When fifteen minutes rolled around, absolutely nothing happened. A second call had to be made during this time, only to be told the excuse that the staff was unable to space reach the room and needed Security to clear the area first—they ignored the simple fact that was straightforward in nature. All of this continued to occur until we resorted to demanding a manager before anything happened ‘Why did we have to struggle for basic service.’ ||||- Breakfast was as disorganized and unpleasurable as expected. ||||As for the latter part, there was too many people in the restaurant, leading to a lack of space for the guests. The variety offered in the food was lackluster when compared to what should have been offered such as heavy dished or light sides, with steamed syrup on top. Purely of an improv as well. The soup was also excessively salty along with “stir fried noodles with beef” actually being made with chicken or pork sausage, leading to a sloppy mistake. ||||With all of that said, the prior mentioned were pure service issues. Something as simple as asking for a bowl for congee turned into a challenge I had to ask three times for a request like this.||||But the worst part? The bar counter staff’s dismissive attitude. When I asked an espresso or Americano, instead of helping, he pointed at the machine. When I mentioned not being able to find the right button, his response was an even more rude, impatient tone, as though I were irritating him. Is basic hospitality too much to ask for?||||- Check-Out—A Frustrating End to an Already Disappointing Stay||||We thought the worst was behind us—until check-out. The procedure was excruciatingly tedious because of both protracted lines and ineffective organization. Rather than a pleasant send-off, we departed feeling exhausted and annoyed.||||- Final Thoughts||||What would have been an enjoyable getaway, rapidly turned into an exasperating series of poorly timed obstacles—inadequate upkeep, unhelpful service, and apathetic employees all contributed to a disappointment that is far lower than what was anticipated. The resort does not offer even the most basic form of hospitality, ensuring that the guests feel unwanted and overlooked. Until significant changes are instituted, this place cannot be recommended to anyone seeking comfort...

I am compelled to share the utterly disgraceful experience my husband and I endured during our recent stay at the Radisson Hotel. The audacity of branding this establishment as a 4-star hotel is beyond comprehension.
We stayed there during the last June, hoping for a basic level of comfort and decency during my best friend's wedding. Little did we know that we were in for an appalling ordeal. When my husband experienced an epilepsy crisis, we assumed that a semblance of humanity and competence would be displayed by the hotel staff. Instead, we were met with a shocking lack of urgency and professionalism.
The staff's response to a medical emergency was nothing short of a disgrace. Rather than immediately tending to the situation, they chose to disregard the severity of the matter. Shockingly, they failed to call for medical assistance, leaving us to grapple with a crisis without any support. This level of neglect and indifference towards guests in dire need is not only disappointing but infuriating.
This incident has marred what should have been a joyous celebration and has exposed the Radisson Hotel's glaring negligence when it comes to guest safety and well-being. The extent of my dissatisfaction cannot be adequately expressed.
As a deeply disillusioned customer who endured such distressing and negligent treatment, I demand more than a half-hearted apology. A full refund for our stay is the bare minimum, accompanied by substantial compensation for the torment we were subjected to and the gross inadequacy of your establishment. To endure such treatment during a medical emergency is a gross violation of trust and human decency.
I intend to use my experience to forewarn potential guests about the abysmal standards upheld by the Radisson Hotel. This incident has left an indelible mark of disdain, and I implore the management to act swiftly to address this despicable situation.
I expect a prompt response and a resolution that acknowledges the severity of this ordeal. If my concerns are not addressed to my satisfaction, I will not hesitate to escalate this matter to expose the Radisson Hotel's negligence and incompetence to a wider...

As a global traveler and IT professional, I recently planned a 2-night, 3-day stay at Radisson Resort Phan Thiet in Vietnam for my mother's birthday, along with my family and pets. We rented two bungalows at this pet-friendly resort and paid extra for our dogs.
Upon returning from dinner, we faced a shocking situation. The electricity was out, leaving our room pitch dark and unbearably hot, a challenging environment for our dogs. Initially, the resort staff who couldn't speak English struggled to communicate with us. Although the electricity issue was resolved, the resort's handling was limited to a mere apology. Additionally, there was no hot water, and the refrigerator was not working. As customers, we have the right to demand an official apology and appropriate compensation. I have visited Radisson Resorts in other countries, but this one in Phan Thiet was the worst.
We tried to speak to the manager, but they had left for the day, and after waiting for 40 minutes, we received no solution. This level of response from the resort is extremely disappointing. Such occurrences in a resort that should prioritize guest safety and comfort are unacceptable. The absence of a manager responsible for training and managing staff cannot be excused under any circumstances. Therefore, I hold the manager’s absence and lack of accountability more responsible than the response of the staff who attended us. A hotel or resort must have responsible management in place for unforeseen situations. Do you agree with me?
Based on this experience, I rate Radisson Resort Phan Thiet as the worst and do not recommend staying here. You too could face similar issues, so please consider this when choosing your...
