THÁI HÒA MŨI NÉ RESORT — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

Thai Hoa Mui Ne Resort is a perfectly manicured property with lush tropical landscaping on a beautiful stretch of beach in the South China Sea. It is located at the far end of the beach in Mui Ne, not Phan Thiet||||The main attraction is the bungalow style rooms up close and personal with the beach as well as the attractive pool area. We stayed in a garden view bungalow that was cute and cozy, albeit small. The tiny bathroom is equipped with a Asian style open shower with a drain in the floor, which means no enclosed shower stall. So when you shower it drenches the entire bathroom!|| Each room is equipped with a mini fridge and a flat screen TV which offered English speaking premium channels such as HBO and Cinemax. The Wifi connection was average.||||The location of the resort is at the far end of the beach in Mui Ne. It seems a bit isolated which is a disadvantage if you want to be near the action closer to the main restaurant, bar and shopping area. It is approximately a 10 minute taxi ride to the center of the tourist strip. In Mui Ne the taxi rates seem to be much higher than in other areas within Vietnam and they have this convoluted two tier system depending upon the size of the cab you take. Frankly, it feels like price gouging. || In a resort area that is on its way to becoming gentrified, staying at Thai Hoa Mui Ne Resort is like a reminder of the tropical resorts from days past. It’s an up market 3 star property without all the bling, bells and whistles of the luxury high rise hotels that are in the process of construction all over town. In fact, every day we were awakened with a cacophony of hammers, saws and the like which continued throughout the day, disrupting the tranquil environment. Of course it is not the resort’s fault and is only temporary until the construction is complete. In addition to the construction symphony next door, a constant racket of motorbikes whizzing by the main road out front breaks the silence. Needless to say, we only stayed two nights. If you go, be sure to request a room towards the rear of the property.|| ||Mui Ne has become a popular destination for Russians escaping the bleak Siberian winters. Everywhere you go, menus and signage are written in Russian. At the Thai Hoa Mui Ne resort, it is apparent that the majority of their customers are Russian. The resort caters to them by offering Russian menu choices and playing Russian classical music in the restaurant at all times. It can be a bit tedious. Breakfast is included and the resort offers mostly Russian, some Western and Asian choices. ||||The bar choices are limited, but you can be assured that they carry Russian Standard Vodka. The only wine available to order is Vietnamese wine from Dalat. Finding decent wine in Vietnam in general is a challenge, which a surprise to me was given that Vietnam has many French influences due to their past history. I was a bit perturbed when the restaurant had a large sign displaying that they had French wine available and when I asked for it, I was met with a deer in headlights response by the staff. They sent me back and forth from the restaurant to the bar to try and find the French wine. It never materialized. In fact, they tried to pass off the Dalat wine to me as a substitution. Speaking of misunderstandings, the only persons at the resort that speak English are the front desk attendants. There is a significant language barrier amongst their employees, although they do their best to help in the typical polite Asian way. Perhaps they speak...

В отеле отдыхала по комбинированному туру от Пегаса Фантхиет-Нячанг. Пожалела, что не взяла этот отель на весь отпуск (в Нячанге Пегас кинул – попала как из рая в ад, будет другой отзыв).|| Отель расположен в стороне от центра, основной массы отелей, магазинов и кафешек - и это только плюс: тихо, цены ниже. Обменять деньги, купить фрукты, сувениры, чай-кофе-лекарства можно «у Вани», от выхода направо несколько метров, цены ниже, чем в центре. Распиаренное кафе «у Тани» – ничего особенного, но и не плохо. Ходила в центр до знаменитого Боке около 4 км, вечером все равно больше делать нечего, по пути магазинчики. кафешки, массажные салоны. Боке – множество кафешек с морепродуктами, где почище и скатерти – подороже, где обстановка попроще – подешевле, на качество еды не влияет. Морепродукты часто были мороженные (не живые как раньше), объясняют тем, что мало туристов. ||Так же географический плюс расположения отеля – мыс Муйне закрывает от волн, купались даже с маленькими детками. Для малышей есть мелкий бассейн. ||Разместили стразу по прибытии, забирают паспорт, денежного депозита нет.||Номер был «без вида», № 103 – на первом этаже, через перила балкона был центральный вход в отель, где днем располагался ресепшен спа салона, целый день играла вьетнамская музыка – не мешало, напротив, местный колорит. Массаж в местном салоне посредственный, не стараются, может начать делать один человек, уйдет, придет другой, поделает, заканчивает третий.. в итоге по одному месту мусолят полчаса, а до чего-то и дело не дойдет.||Номера и мебель в отеле уставшие, убирают не очень тщательно, но ничего страшного – пыль\песок протирала сама. ||Сейфом не пользовалась, деньги в рюкзаке, ничего не пропало. ||Вайфай лучше на ресепшен, до балкона иногда долетает сигнал, в номере нет.||В предыдущих отзывах писали про насекомых в номерах - насекомые в постели, это не комары, кусают больно, накусали сильно, остаются красные шишки. (В соседнем номере насекомых не было). Пожаловалась на ресепшен – пожали плечами (где же еще быть блохам, как не в постели?).||Завтраки богатые и вкусные, это вполне могли бы быть и обеды и ужины. Горячее, мясо, ветчина, разнообразный гарнир. Супы\каши. Яичница\омлет с наполнителями на заказ. Салаты. Выпечка – бисквиты как для торта. Фрукты – хватало всем. Всего даже не перепробовала. Дома мы так не завтракаем. ||Выбирала отель по фото тоже, на пляже обещали быть лежаки под навесами. По прибытию на пляже обнаружила бульдозер. Укрепляют берег, посадили ооочень высокие пальмы (тени от них нет). Лежаков на пляже нет, только у бассейна. Нет навесов\зонтиков совсем, жгучее солнце, у бассейна можно полежать или рано утром или вечером. ||На пляже направо делают массаж, за 100т донгов за 40 мин, говорят – хорошо, не ходила (идти по жаре далековато, ветром песок несет, делала в отеле – после массажа можно сразу в номере прилечь)||Налево в нескольких метрах продавали морепродукты. Креветки\гребешки хранятся в переносных холодильниках, тут же приготовят. Это лотерея – один раз брала гребешки – 40 штук за 100т донгов – очень вкусно, с разными соусами в нагрузку,, второй раз в кучке креветок попалась одна испорченная, все прелести белкового отравления испытала…. Но так же и в кафешках может быть, морепродукты часто лежат под солнцем.||Еще плюс расположения отеля – в сторону Муйне есть только один живой отель, пустой пляж, только рано утром рыбаки сети тянут.||В общем отель очень понравился. Территория ухоженная. Персонал вежливый, улыбчивый. Обстановка спокойная, тихо (может быть по тому, что отдыхающих было мало, накануне карантина, китайцам границы уже закрыли).||Несмотря на мелкие недостатки, отель понравился,...

What a wonderful beautiful 5 star beach resort at Thái Hoà Mũi Né Phan Thiết in Vietnam! I returned there with family for the second time last week and everyone in my family from Vietnam, United States and Australia was happy with the place. We occupied 5 rooms just a couple of steps from the ocean. 6:30am in the morning a FREE fresh wonderful Vietnamese multi-dishes breakfast buffet was served daily with coffee and juices. After that we can lie down on the beach chairs enjoying the ocean view and sound and getting wet, swimming in the ocean view big professional pool at the resort or just simply get on our private transportation to go shop or seeing wonderful places in Phan Thiết including the great California based winery which stores more than 4,000 bottles of wine manufactured from California! You can order from-the-kitchen lunch and dinner with amazing price and quality. It cost me only 30 USD for a full 3 dish course lunch or dinner for 10! Wonderful customer services and service and price! Highly recommended!...
