My wife and I stayed at Ho Tram Beach Boutique Resort for 4 days and it was the perfect ending of our Vietnam/Cambodia trip. The resort is very quiet, perfectly arranged and everyone is just nice.
Rooms: The resort has different living options. You can either rent an entire house with separated rooms and even a private pool/ beach view or an apartment. We chose the apartment option (at pupa) and were happy about it. The room consisted of a very comfortable bed and pillows for two persons. There was even a net for protecting us from mosquito bites during the night, which was extraordinary in comparison to the other hotels we've been. The ceiling is very high and overall everything was clean. The interior has an slight exotic style. The AC worked properly and we never had problems with to hot temperatures.
Service: Everyone was polite and helpful. All people we've met greeted us with a smile and all our requests we're fulfilled perfectly. We can recommend the food at the Gecko-Restaurant and Beach-Bar. We never had problem with the food and it is especially delicious for fish lovers (they do serve all kind of food). Overall the staff at the reception seems very professional and everyone speaks English very well. Important messages were send immediately to us. Laundry service was very competent and reliable. There is a room service for food, but we did not use it.
Location: The resort is located directly at the beach. It consists of the mentioned restaurants, two pools (salt water, sweet water), a spa, a gym, playground area for children (there were not many children at the hotel), kayak on the lake, a little garden areal, a pond, a meeting center, the reception and the beach itself. It was very silent and relaxing. Overall there we're not many guests at the resort and so there have never been stressful events or anything.
We will definitely come back (for one of the private domiciles with pool) in the...
Read moreDear Ho Tram Beach Boutique,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at Ho Tram Beach Boutique. While the resort’s facilities remain impressive, the service we received during our stay fell far short of the exceptional experience we had on a previous visit.
Upon arrival, our party of over 10 people encountered significant difficulties with the check-in process. There was only one staff member available to assist with our luggage, resulting in unnecessary inconvenience. The welcome drink service was also below par. Instead of being personally served, as is customary at other resorts, the drinks were placed on a tray for us to pour ourselves, a stark contrast to our previous experience.
Later that evening, a serious privacy breach occurred when a staff member entered an occupied room, startling a guest who was using the bathroom. This incident was deeply disturbing and unacceptable.
The following morning, the breakfast buffet was poorly managed. Several food items, including sausages and bacon, were consistently unavailable for extended periods.
It is truly disheartening to see such a decline in service quality at a resort we once held in high regard. While the physical aspects of the resort remain commendable, the shortcomings in staff training and management are evident.
I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and used to improve the overall guest experience at Ho Tram Beach Boutique. Unfortunately, based on this recent stay, I will not be returning and the resort will definitely stay off my recommended list for other...
Read moreAfter a long exhausting I found this lovely and secluded resort which is not too far the hustle and bustle of saigon city centre! The resort sales offered me a great summer deal and free 2-way bus transfer so I decided to put this one on my bucket list! The resort is not widely publicized like the other industrial resorts so not many Vietnamese family and kids know this one! The serenity and peace are the plus side of this wonderful and rustic site! Nestle in the shade of trees and bushes around my cottage and coconut leaves roof makes my vacation become the unforgettable memories! The waiters and waitresses are hospitable and helpful, Ms Ngan is so nice and recommended some vietnamese cuisine, you should try vietnamese food here, personally I think the chef is so good at vietnamese food! The menu also offered some western cuisine and they do the fusion menu but I prefer Vietnamese food! The room has some certain characteristics and reflects the Hue-royal design with lamps, wooden dressing table ..everything is rustic and eco-friendly as well! The beach is so so in comparison with some beaches in the middle areas of Vietnam but it is private and isolated to bask yourselves under the sun and get some fresh breeze from the sea or simply stroll around the shades near the beach to collect some shells ! The Gecko restaurant near the beach, I love it so much when the rain came in, ordered a glass of Craft beer and immersed in the cool air under yellow light and...
