Green Hotel — Hotel in Quảng Trị Province

I cannot describe how much we love this hotel! ❤️❤️❤️ We were on a motorbike road trip around Vietnam and planned visiting Khe Sanh because of the memorial and the military museum. Green Hotel is like an oasis amidst the wilderness. We actually extended our stay for another night and were lucky we did so, because we found out about the war anniversary festivities that night. The rooms boast a TV connected to the internet, hot water, clean sheets and in the morning you can get a simple but filling Banh Mi and a coffee on the top floor with a breeze of fresh air and a great view. Nice hotel options in Khe Sanh are pretty limited, but this new hotel may be the best of the bunch. The rooms are fairly spartan but functional. See pictures attached. There is a coffee bar upstairs, but no restaurant or traditional bar. The front desk staff spoke passable English, but not the bar staff. I had ants in my bathroom on checkin. I mentioned it to the staff on my way out. I returned a few hours later, and the ants were gone with no residual pesticide smell. I would like to give this place more stars as in many ways it exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, however, our room had a strong smell of sewage. This may have just been the room so don't let this put you off but I would recommend checking this before agreeing to a room. Other than that accomodation was basic but fairly clean. Not hot water sadly. The café upstairs has great views and the manager is super friendly and speaks great English. The coffee was nice and produced locally and prices are very reasonable.
