Hải Đăng Hotel — Hotel in Quảng Trị Province

Like the other 4 travellers I shared a few beers with on the porch of the hotel, I stopped at Hài Dang Hotel for one night during my motorbike road trip to the north. I only have positive things to say about my stay. It's a typical Vietnamese hotel. The beds have flat and hard surfaces, however I slept very well. || I had the choice between three rooms, priced from 180VND, 220VND, and 250VND. I would not have taken the 180VND one has it was the oldest and less attractive of the three. The other two were pretty much same same 😊 so I ended up staying I the 220VND option (photos attached). It was clean, very spacious, 2 beds, one table and 2 chairs, coat hanger, cubboard, and large Asian bathroom. A complimentary bottle of water was also waiting for me on the bedside table. Breakfast (30VND) was a delicious omelette, 2 pièces of bread, coffee, and a banana. ||Finally, the family that operates the hotel is very friendly. The man who took care of my check-in and breakfast was very charming and friendly, insisted I put my motorbike inside, and made sure I had all I needed. On the main road, so easy to find, but luckily our room was at the back with lovely views and no traffic noise.||||Good clean room, decent bed and bathroom was fine with plenty of hot water. Wifi also worked well.||||The owners were very friendly and let us park our motorcycles inside the building and the price was good, we paid 250,000 vnd for an ensuite double. ||||Also, if like us you're craving a good espresso type coffee, from the hotel, turn left and just beyond the very good Banh Mi shop is a great little coffee shop, proper espresso machine, next to a shop called TAM. ||||Overall we were really happy to stay here and judging by reviews of the other options in town, this might be...
