I recently stayed at the brand new Ngoc Thu Palace Hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way.
The cleanliness of the facilities and the comfort of the bedding were exceptional.
Being close to the city center was a huge plus, but what really stood out was its proximity to the bus stop, making transportation incredibly convenient.
Among the hotels I've stayed at in the area, Ngoc Thu Palace is undoubtedly one of the best.
What's even more impressive is that despite its quality, the pricing is quite affordable.

Clean and new facility room, has fridge but no safe box. Comfy bed but no curtain in shower bathtub so the water flashing and wet all the restroom floor after shower. Very nice staff and helpful. The coffee shop was nice and has good coffee as well as breakfast. Cheap price compares to the same standard hotel at others town in Mekong delta. Read moreThe hotel in itself is good, the problem is it is too big for the amount of clients. Since there is not enough clients, staff is minimal, cleaning is minimal, and most facilities are closed. Lots of dust, dirty faucets, blocked drain in the shower.
All in all, an okay hotel for the moment, but could become a great one if Soc Trang tourism starts picking up and they can hire more personnel.
