As members of the 22-strong Anglo-Thai Society Regional Tour Group, my wife and myself are nearing the end of a most enjoyable overnight stay at the impressive Muang Thanh Luxury Hotel in Son La.||||After having staying at Muang Thanh’s Lai Chau & Dien Bien Phu Hotels (both good properties in their own right - see separate Reviews) this is certainly the best so far. One reason is the fact it Is more modern and certainly lives upto its name of being a Luxury Hotel.||||Rooms are large and well-equipped - I particularly like the stand alone shower and, in common with both the Lai Chai & Dien Bien Phu properties - plenty of hot water. Service has also been very good and whilst I, personally, am rather disappointed with the Breakfasts (limited fruit/cereals and - for some strange reason - cold coffee?), the Group enjoyed an excellent Chinese-style Dinner last night in the Pha Juang Restaurant.||||All in all, a most enjoyable stay and recommended to all others looking for a comfortable...

Read moreA real 4-star Western-qualification hotel. Clean, quiet, good services. The layout of the rooms of Mường Thanh hotels is pleasant, comfortable. The quality of everything is high. The maintenance is good. In my opinion worth what you pay for. In Moc Chau I 1as 100% satisfied here I must regret 2 details: in strad of a drain in the bathroom AND a drain in the toilet room, there is only 1cdrain in the middle, exactly under the glass separation door between bathroom and toilet. So after taking a shower, the toilet area is also wet ... Furthermore, the rack with towels is broken loose from the wall. And children were running shouting and making a of of noise in the corridor. But the management went immediately to request the parents to stop that....
