First of all the location of the farm stay was really amazing. It was a little outside of the city so it was quiet at night but we just needed 20 min by foot to walk to the city center. Further the view of the big balcony was really nice since we had a good look directly to the beautiful nature with its rice terraces and mountains. Our room was really comfortable. There was a heating mattress which is a really good advantage and the design of the room was neat. But the best thing was Link, the host. She was so super kind and friendly. Whenever we had a question she answered us right away and gave us really good tips for our trekking tour. So her hospitality was outstanding. Next her English was really good. Read moreThis is a great homestay if you want to be away from the business of Sapa, yet close enough to walk or ride your motorbike to go to the center. they have built the guestrooms separately from the main house, so you have your own balcony for guests and dining room. It feels like you are all alone on a cabin trip in the mountain because there are no other homestays or hotels that you can see. So the privacy and peacefulness was really nice! It has very good energy! The rooms are nicely decorated...only drawback is that beds are a bit hard...but you can always ask for an extra comforter to sleep on:) I think she said in the winter they have electric blankets and heaters to keep you warm:) I had a lovely time here 3 nights and I also got to see a shaman ceremony with drums and singing! It was very...
Read moreMy stay at the Link was perfect! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I arrived in the evening without making a booking in advance and they warmly welcomed me with a cup of tea and a home cooked dinner (which was amazing). The bed was warm and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I only stayed for one night, but returned two days later to pick up my luggage, that they let me keep there during a trek / home stay. When I arrived back, the offered me a hot shower and bed to rest in while I waited for a late night bus, which they offered to book for me. The owner even went out of his way to walk me all the way to the bus station! Overall I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend to anyone...
