When we first checked in, the hotel seemed pretty ace for AU$12: it's close to the beach; the furniture, curtains and decor seemed nice; the room has a fridge and a balcony. But before we'd even unpacked, the rot began to set in: the balcony, which obviously hadn't encountered a broom or mop for some time, was covered in grime and cigarette butts; the (dead) pot plant on the balcony was encrusted with dozens more cigarette butts; toiletry sachets in the bathroom had been opened and used; there was chewing gum stuck inside the wall in the bathroom, the side of the bedside table, and - worse - in the centre of the bedhead; the bottom of the fridge, which contained none of the listed 'minibar' items, was covered in old food crumbs and debris, with an old plastic bag (full of god-only-knows-what) stuck to the inside of the unfrosted freezer; a highly unpleasant stench pervaded the room; loud buzzing from the aircon units located on the balcony kept us awake all night; the bed sheet had holes in it; the bedspread was stained and disgusting; and the pillows on the chairs were covered in stains. To add insult to injury, the aircon unit didn't work properly; the owner's son refused to accept that the room was grotty; and they had the hide to switch off the wifi at 9:00 am, the morning after we checked in...
Read moreMy wife and I booked into this hotel on the strength of tripadvisor reviews. The good reviews about the hotel are accurate. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious enough and have hot water. There is a lift. For the price, it is very good value. The owner is friendly and has some English. The receptionist had very little / no English which made life a little difficult on arrival. The breakfast is ok for 50k VND. 2 eggs, a roll, a small salad and vietnamese style coffee. Given the dearth of other eateries it may be wise to eat here. ||||The hotel is a long walk from the train station. Take a taxi - it should not cost more than 25k VND. Taxi drivers do not speak English so have the name and address of the hotel written down. ||||After finally finding something to eat, we arrived back at the hotel around 1pm and it was closed with shutters down. We thumped on the front gate to no avail. Eventually we found a back alley and thumped on the back gate and the receptionist eventually arose from his slumber to let us in. ||||On check out the card machine did not...
Read moreMe and my sister stayed here 2 nights when we came to Tuy Hoa city because of the friendly, helpful staff. They always welcome you by a smile. The location is excellent near by beach and the middle of the center city. The room is good with cheap price, 200.000d per night. Thank for good time. |However when we check out to go to Quy Nhon we can get the bus because the receptionist gave us wrong infomation. But it's ok. It is great memories and we should check carefully before we go. This receptionist should be sure about everything which they talk with their guests. |Overall agreat hotel with...
