Mika Hotel | Kabulonga — Hotel in Lusaka Province

Traveled for business and I couldn't be more disappointed. It's as though the owner made enough money and forgot about maintenance and customer care. The pictures to the rooms are fake. 1st room- paint and headclboard covers peeling off. Musty. Finishings falling off 2nd room - dirty trash swept unfer the bed. No air-conditioning. Telephone not working. Mold. Sockets not working. I could have sworn I saw a condom wrapper under the bed! 3rd room - sockets not working. Smoke from the braai stands. No privacy, the cooks would randomly pass and look in 4th room - only 2 sockets working. Shower doors nonexistent. Finishings falling off. Right next to pool and gym. Forever loud music from the gym Sheets were never changed till you brought it up. Literally just folding the sheets and not even sweeping the room or throwing out trash. WiFi never functional (Im not sure the It guy knew what he was doing). RUDEST receptionists unless its a man being served. Bar is pitiful. Restaurant takes over an hour to make a simple meal and it comes cold. NEVER HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER!!!! Very little water pressure. Waiters always overcharged! Bar overcharged too. My friend came to visit and was given a totally different price

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. It's not worth it for the price charged. It's giving local cheap stopover and not...

They forget to let you upon checking in that contruction is taking place in the room next door. This isn't a Hotel, its a construction site! Woke up to Construction sounds from the next door room, Grinder machines, hammers, you name it...

Plug points in the rooms are falling apart and dangling everywhere.

Bar Fridge in the room does not work, there goes our food.

Breakfast at 8:30am - Lecol is served instead of Orange Juice, Pineapples and Watermellon - That's it???

Was told Hotel Manager would call me back this morning, nothing since - 17.08.2023.

The rooms were clean other than everything else falling apart.

The hotel room doors look like they've been kicked in from the outside...
