Panyumba Backpackers — Hotel in Lusaka Province

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ By far the best backpacker option in Lusaka! This place doesn’t have many reviews yet simply because it’s new — but don’t let that fool you. Panyumba Backpackers is an absolute gem. It’s clean, well-maintained, and designed with care and intention. A perfect hostel for backpackers who want a relaxed and welcoming place to stay.

One of the biggest highlights is the owner — Blessing. He’s a truly fantastic person: warm, generous, and incredibly friendly. I had the pleasure of spending time with him and having long, engaging conversations that really helped me settle into Zambia. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home and supported.

The staff are equally kind, helpful, and always smiling — and they do a great job keeping the place spotless.

2025年7月23〜25日滞在 ルサカに滞在中利用しました。 中心地から少し離れているため配車サービスのyamgoを利用するのが一番良いですね。 夜は全く街灯がないエリアなので必ず配車サービスを使いましょう。 ショッピングモールまではどこも歩いて40分くらいかかるので立地はそこまで良くありません。

宿はとても綺麗で過ごしやすいです。 夜中は部屋のコンセントが使えなくなるので注意が必要です。 オーナーはとても親切で気持ちよくゲストが過ごせるように配慮してくれます。 次回、ルサカに来る時はまた利用したいと思います。 ホテルの写真を撮るのを忘れてました…

Stayed July 23-25, 2025 I stayed here while in Lusaka. Since it's a little far from the city center, it's best to use the ride-hailing service yamgo. The area has no streetlights at night, so be sure to use a ride-hailing service. The location isn't that great, as it's about a 40-minute walk to any shopping mall.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Please note that the outlets in the rooms are disabled at night. The owner was very kind and made every effort to ensure guests had a comfortable stay. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Lusaka. I forgot to take photos of...
