You need your own vehicle to stay here. It's right on the edge of Lusaka, and the taxi they arranged for us was over an hour late coming. When this happens, the location is such that there's nothing you can do about it.||The grounds, public areas, rooms are all quite nice, but the WiFi was off more than it was on, and even when on, it was too weak for anything beyond emails.||The owners are fairly 'hands-off', and my companion, a young black Zambian, felt they were distinctly unfriendly towards him. Read moreI chose this hotel because it was close to a business I needed to visit, but it turned out to be an unexpected pleasure of a visit. The hotel is aptly named from the many differnt birds and their calls that can be seen and heard from the large trees on the grounds. The food is excellent, and the staff is extremely helpful, as even one of the safari drivers gave me a ride when my taxi driver failed to show up.
