Bought some squid and snapper in Catalano's Bassendean outlet, the cashier asked if we want the snapper cleaned, we bought 4 pcs but when we got home only 2 pcs in the bag😤 We didn't check the bag before leaving as we trust them, didn't realise how dishonest and pathetic the staff, they are willing to ruin their name for a few pcs of fish😱 I sent a message in their fb account and hopefully Catalano will do something about it and escalate the issue to reprimand the staff involved otherwise they will...

Regular haunt. The best seafood, Aussie prawns, snapper by four or five varieties, cod, brim, very popular location,. In summer get in early as hordes of people. Bit quieter through Covid and winter and not so much range in winter due to supply they will even clean whole fish if you buy them that way. Have been going to this place for the last 6 years and I wouldn't buy my fish anywhere else. They used to only open up on Saturdays which made it difficult but these days they are open all week long. Warning! You should get there nice and early if you want the best selection of seafood.

Price is very reasonable and they will happily cut the fish in any fashion that you want. Just remember that you will have to wait for a bit while...
