Usually get the Barramundi and chips. Have had Battered and grilled but prefer the battered.

Amazing quality. Fish is always fresh, batter is perfect and crisp. The cook can not get any better and the ingredients are 5 star. Same goes with the chips. Chunky, full of soft potato, yet super crunchy on the outside, and they stay crunchy for a long time. I like most of the takeaways in Bonnells Bay, except for Nargis which is awful, but the Barramundi and Chips here is arguably the best takeaway dish in the suburb.

Oh and the portions are massive! Sometimes the barramundi is the size of a football. The amount of chips that come with it could feed 2 people. 5 star quality and quantity. Plus the service is very good. It's usually the chef, who knows very well what he is doing in the kitchen, a young friendly girl serving, and a friendly older woman helping with both. Their chips are decent and their fish is okay, providing you like paying a premium for salmon with bone still in. I've been to this place for 20 years and have always accepted them as being average. However, do not bother going here if you're looking for dinner. I don't know how organised other people are but I rarely have worked out that I'm having take-away instead of cooking by 6:30. This place seems to think this is when most people have made up their minds so they better turn off their hot-plate. Staff is friendly and nice We visited around 2pm and don’t have much choice in Bonnells Bay. We ordered fish and chip ($14), calamari burger ($8.5).
