Late on this review as I ordered a while ago. Nevertheless I highly recommend this place. Ordered beef flat rice noodles and black pepper combination with rice. The noodles were coated in delicious sauce and the beef so tender and flavorsome. The black pepper sauce was delicious and every element perfectly cooked and fresh. The portions were HUGE, it's amazing how much they can pack in to one container. The noodle dish itself could easily have fed two people to completion.
Been here a few times and never disappointed. I have spent time in China and even close friends with a Chinese chef who has owned a restaurant for 20 years. Eaten at so many different chinese places around Sydney and Asia and this definitely is at the top of the list, especially at a reasonable price. Lovely service too. The best local takeaway by a mile. Do yourself a favor and try...
Read moreFirst up I don’t often post poor reviews as I try to support small local business.
Our order was beef and black bean, honey prawns, special fried rice and prawn toast.
The beef in black bean was pale and flavourless. We asked for extra broccoli. No problem they said. When we got it home the ‘brocolli’ was actually cauliflower. And there wasn’t any broccoli in the dish at all.
The prawn toast wasn't edible, all you could taste was oil. The honey prawns were overcooked.
The fried rice tasted like something that came in a packet and had a burnt smokey taste.
With no eat in option we weren’t expecting a high class dining experience.
BUT we paid just over $60 and every dish ended up in the bin.
We then had the inconvenience of having to cook something once we got home.
One poor dish fair enough, even two, but four dishes...
Read moreI don’t like giving such a harsh review, but the food really was not edible and my husband and I basically threw it out. What a waste of money that was we had special fried rice. It was really not good at all. We had a honey chicken and we had calamari the oil It was cooked and looked so old. The calamari had a real dark dirty look to it. I’m sorry but that’s how we found the food. I think that it would be advisable to go in and test out food from the Dora Creek Chinese And see what they’re producing because what you’re producing is not fit for the prices that you’re charging. It is really substandard food and when people are paying good money it should be good food. I can cook better...
