Pretty good online shop. We have bought 2 orders of about $1500 each in the last few months. Most of the clothes were pretty decent quality. And for the most part the return/exchange process was good and helpful.
However, be warned that they have 'last sale' items that are not returnable, and that is only indicated by a banner and small text on the inital page that sort of blends into the website. There's no indication on the checkout that something is final sale, like I've seen on other sites.
We mistakenly bought a few items final sale in our first order. BB kindly let us exchange some for store credit. The second order I thought I had avoided the no return items, but without any indication on the checkout and making a big order it can get a bit confusing so I ordered a $90 dress that was no return. Of course, that's one of 3 items that doesn't work for us. Fair enough they won't let us return this one, but now we are stuck with a $90 dress we don't want which is rather annoying.
I realise it was really our fault, I should have been more vigilant and double checked every item, but when making big orders with 100 browser tabs open it can get a bit confusing. It would be better if there was clear indication in the checkout cart that something cannot be returned. Especially since being able to return something is really quite imperative to online clothes shopping.
That said, my wife is quite pleased with most of the clothes, and this was my ultimately my fault really. But it's left us a bit miffed so we probably won't be going back again and we're making our returns from our last order into refunds.
We thought it worth warning others to read really closely if something is returnable or not when you read the main page, and probably go through each item in the cart before checking out to make sure.
If you can keep on top of that though, it's a pretty good online store. Quite a bit better than many others we have seen...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had what can only be described as a bizarre experience today at your store and we were so looking forward to visiting. We were left with a very sour taste in our mouths indeed. At first the sales assistant shuffled us into the adjoining coffee shop which was closed, we assumed because we were carrying take away coffees, but she didnāt really say. It was as if we needed permission to enter the store, her domain. Once we checked in and for our masks on, left our coffees in the other room, she was waiting there, looked us up and down and explained if we couldnāt find our size on the rack, there might be more out there back. We felt very judged (at size 14 and 18). We asked for help finding glasses because they are all strangely packed away in boxes, making it impossible to try them on. She was too busy wrapping a gift and made us wait. The āstock girlā was called and had trouble finding said glasses and after 10 minutes asked if we wanted her to keep looking? Of course we did! We had come all the way to the store specifically to buy these glasses. In the meantime my friend tried on dresses and no-one helped her, other than to yell across the store to put her mask back on. The final straw, happened when the same sales assistant started complaining out loud to the other one āTHAT Discovery is still parked out the frontā! It was my friendās car and we were shopping there!! How ridiculous. The whole experience was terrible, we have never been made to feel so unwelcome, uncomfortable and disappointed to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a local to the area, I appreciate that parking spots can be at a premium during peak hours. After seeing a few car spots available outside, I decided to quickly park for few minutes whilst going to a neighbouring store. Shortly after, I received a spray of verbal abusive, and later, childish taunts beyond what one would call āreasonableā from the store owner.
Upon returning to my car, it was evident the disgruntled owner wanted to inconvenience me by purposefully asking her co-worker to park me in (when there were countless other available parks). It was obvious that they had no intention in coming out and moving in the immediate future. After entering the store and politely asking for a resolution, I was met by the owner sniggering and giving the co-worker a āthumbs upā for wasting my time once the driver eventually moved.
For 3:00pm on a Friday, it really wasnāt a nice way to start the weekend. In a time where supporting local is so important, it is quite comforting when a local business can clearly polarise their potential customer base with such petty acts. Being kind, understanding and pragmatic can really go a long way. Sincerely, a...
