Not sure if we went on an off day but the food was not to their full potential.. We got grilled fish, chips and some calamari...The fish was very bland, it didnt taste fresh (Nowra fish market is a great comparison to great) it honestly tasted very crumbly. Chips were okay. Calamari was okay but again tasted like they weren't fresh. I've only been here once so i may of come on an off day. I dont like writing bad reviews but i felt a little let down considering we waited 17min for a couple of grilled fishes and we were the only ones there. I am also a lover of seafood so i guesd i was hoping for better. I will try it again maybe on a day they have more to offer as they also were out of a few things. Either way i hope this helps.

Update: Thanks for the reply, as i said i will come back and try you guys out again. A huge bonus is your friendly staff, i forgot to mention that...

Delicious fish'n'chips. We had battered fish (hake was only choice), calamari, sea scallops and prawn cutlet. Everything was fresh, tasty, crispy. Came with sachet tartare & lemon but other tartare also able to be bought. The batter was light and crispy. 3 of us had 2x fish and chips + one fish on its own. The chips were enough to share between the 3 of us. The piece of fish was plenty for one. We ordered an hour ahead of time and the order came out right on time. Service was very friendly. Prices reasonable. My only other comment is that there was lots of salt on everything. With hindsight, I should have asked to go easy on the salt, so please do so if too much salt is...

Something is definitely awesome about Something Seafood: it's their "Something Seafood Pack"! Everything in that pack satisfied the hunger pangs of my friend and I on a wet and cold night. The grilled fish was soft, moist and flaky. Chips were done perfectly with the right crunch and texture. I could keep raving about the other goodies like the crumbed calamari, fish cocktails and etc. We couldn't gobbled up our takeaway fast enough as soon as we got into our car. My friend and I both agreed that we need to go back for Round 2 on Sunday, and this time 1 pack each! Definitely a gem in the burbs! Thank you for such a...

Holidaying down at the South Coast from Sydney. First time getting fish n chips from this local and hearing them winning best fish n chips. Let me tell you, you won’t be disappointed. Im a kiwi and we live and breath fish n chips and this comes close to it. My kids love it and I was happy to support our local businesses. The service is good. Yes, they do get busy and there is a wait but come on guys, just be kind and patience. The fish batter was perfect. All n all, I’ll be definitely be back when holidaying back down south. Amazing fish and chips. Keep up the wonderful work

One of the best fish & chips we’ve ever had. Presentation was beautiful and it wasn’t an overly heavy meal that required a nap afterwards. Everything was spot on in the Something Seafood pack at $25. We have decent appetites and easily smashed it although the woman assured us we’d be very full afterwards. Only thing that needs improving is the tartare sauce. Surely a place doing as high quality fish n chips as this could make their own tartare for punters?
