PLEASE NOTE: This is only ‘pet friendly accommodation’ if you bring your own accommodation- ie, a caravan. Woman on the desk who I assume is an owner, was quite happy to tell us at 5:45pm that we couldn’t stay here and would have to find somewhere else. She also was extremely keen to make sure we knew about their terms and conditions and that the website clearly states no pets in the cabins. Funnily, if it was that clear I would have seen it. When I pointed out that I had written on the ‘special requirements’ that we have a dog (spoodle) and no one had contacted me about that she said those could be any words, like requirements for a disability or anything. I asked her if they also ignore special requirements for people with disabilities? Needless to say, it was impossible at such short notice to find ACTUAL pet friendly accommodation. My husband went back to her and negotiated that the dog will not enter the cabin and he will sleep in the car with her tonight. Cabins and camp kitchen seem nice enough. I’ve never seen so many rules and regulations stuck all over the place, so it’s little wonder. Owner let us know if our dog had an ‘accident’ we would be charged $250. She just had to have the last nasty word. My husband had already told her the dog wouldn’t enter the cabin. I guess I’m still in shock having experienced such uncivilised...

The greeting upon entering reception with my little dog in my arms was disgusting. I was told, quite bluntly, that dogs were not allowed in the reception area. I was travelling alone and did not want to leave my small dog in the car, being a warm day. To which I was told 'that's not my problem'. The manager was rude, arrogant, and sarcastic. A simple "sorry, you can't have your dog in here, but you may tie her up outside for a few moments" would have been much more pleasant. I have never had this experience before when checking in while holding my little dog. As for the park, I had an ensuite site, and the ensuite was spotless with plenty of hot water. The shower head needs either cleaning or replacing as the water flow isn't as efficient as it should be. I can't comment on the amenities or the laundry area. The park is mostly gravel with some small areas of grass, but you're not allowed to take your dog near the grass. Around the camp kitchen, I can understand, but not in other areas. The park, in general, is reasonably tidy with crates near all sites for recycling items, and bins are in various places. The location is reasonably quiet, as is the park. I don't recall there being anything for the kids, not...

We booked a $100 powered site and stated we would be charging our car there - as we have done at many other sites. Upon arrival the caretaker / manager gave our car the evil eye and appeared at check in telling us we could charge for a fee up the road (which we already knew); we decided to go ahead with charging at the site. |After we had started charging and set up our car tent, unpacked, etc the manager went to our site and unplugged the car citing that he was monitoring the power system, that it was ‘too hot’, the potential for a fire(!) and he had 2 other Teslas previously which had screwed up the system.|It was clearly disingenuous that the manager didn’t state car charging was not permitted at check in as he wanted our business and knew we would cancel and go elsewhere if we couldn’t. Very poor attitude and incomplete understanding of EVs, we could have charged at a lower current if there were concerns over the site power system but, at the end of the day, if you are offering a 15A powered site you should have a safe electrical system that can handle this! |Obviously we won’t be returning but want to ensure no other EVs have a similar experience… and hopefully make management aware of their poor...

Great Spot to Relax and Recharge – Excellent Facilities and Friendly Vibe We had a fantastic stay at the BIG4 Ceduna Tourist Park! Whether you’re heading across the Nullarbor or just exploring the beautiful Eyre Peninsula, it's a perfect stop. The park is well-maintained, spacious, and offers everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our powered site was level and shady, with easy access to water and power. The amenities were spotless, with clean showers, well-equipped camp kitchens, and a great laundry. We especially appreciated the BBQ area and the little extras like gardens and shaded seating. The location is excellent too—quiet, but just a short drive or walk into town or down to the foreshore. It’s clear the park is popular with both short-term travellers and longer-term visitors, and there’s a relaxed, community feel. Highly recommend staying here if you're in Ceduna!

We camped here on a trip from WA to VIC for two nights. For cleanliness, you can't fault the place. There is only a small patch of grass for two tents, the rest if the park is limestone gravel. All of the sites are powered and free WiFi is available (limited to 5mb but great for checking emails and social media) Camp kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were some if the cleanest I've seen. Everything is clearly signed. The park wasn't very busy when we were there. Ceduna can be a bit of a rough place and we could here noisey locals arguing through the night, bit this is no fault of the Caravan Park, and we felt safe. Location is a short walk to town - about 400m from main street. Another caravan park is close to foreshore, but not sure that offers much benefit over this one. I would recommend the Big4 Ceduna
