Talk about shoot yourself in the foot... this is what Bill has done in this shop. Cant believe they got so many good reviews... must be all locals who know no better lol. I gave one star because although the chips were expensive... they were good quality. The fish and fish scallops however, were probably the worst I ever had. I asked for Butterfish $7 and one scallop because they were $3.50 each. Well so glad I only got one. What I am about to tell you is 100% truth, and if you dont believe, just buy and check for yourself. Firstly, the butterfish was half the size elsewhere... not much bigger than a potato cake and two bites and it was gone. The schollop itself was smaller that a marble (no joke) and surrounded by half inch of batter. Why would they put only 1mm of batter on the fish, but 15mm of batter on the fish scallop? Yes, to make it appear bigger. But the killer was the price. I would not have believed it if I did not experience it. BTW, did I mention that I was the only one waiting and had to wait about 3 minutes before being asked if I am served? Seriously?Pathetic, but I guess they dont know any better poor souls. This is one soul who will never return. OH, on a positive note... cheesecake...

Not because of taste, as the batter was delicious but as you can see from the photo, it was a disappointing size. Never been to a shop across australia selling such small fish unless specified as a small/lunch portion. We went for dinner. The fish and chips aren’t wrapped in front of you, so no-one had a clue how small the fish would be. Once we drove out of town, we didn’t have time to go back. We ended up cooking up some food at our cabins to go with everyone’s chips which was disappointing. Tasty what we had but just need a lot more fish to go with the price...
Read moreCalled in tonight on our way back to W.A and got a seafood pack consisting of flake, chips, coleslaw and tartare sauce, with slices of lemon and a choice of 1.25l cool drink. W.A fish n chip shops could learn a lot from the wonderful friendly lady who appears to own the shop. The serving size was more than generous, tasted awesome, and the homemade coleslaw and tartare sauce is next level! Highly recommend this amazing eatery that does so much more than just fish and chips. Btw for WA people.. Sno-drop soda tastes like kole' beer mixed with brown creaming soda, but no where near as sweet...
