BOTH parks leased, and your "Class A Reserve" now allows Dogs an staff have Cats more to the amazing point!, no residents are allowed, an usually no Class A Reserve can either!?. But animals are liked an cliental allowed in these days hasn't sprung far from beast, but their anti-social behaviour has excelled. The thought of whose head rested on same pillow an used same dwelling would beggar beleif to many on many levels!. As the new wired facades clearly define a new necessity due to lack of care!. Sad as all acheived levels of respect, care, an knowledge of their residents, presentation of Park, an love for their job, an for what they built for over a decade is already near gone!. Read moreBad experience. We pre booked very well in advance to have 4 groups of people together. On arrival we were told we were alone in 1 area, and the others were split up around the park. When we asked why we were moved and be longer together we were told there's no guarantees when you book where you will be put, even though they confirmed for us. They also told us another group had cone in so they had to move us. Excuse me??? Aren't we a group? And didn't we book well in advance??? You would think a booking well in advance would have preference over another group that just lobbed in. I found the young girl that checked us in REALLY rude! She couldn't care less. When I tried to pay for our stay I handed over my CIL insurance card to get our 10% off, she said never seen one of those before and carried on. When I explained they are an aspen park and this particular park offers the discount she grumbled and moaned, the took the discount off. Her comments made me feel like she was doing me a huge favour. Advice for this park...if you are going to be part of a group that offers a discount, at least make sure ALL staff are aware of it, and apply the discount with a smile. After all at times it's a deciding factor that it's cheaper for people that make them stay. While I was backing our van into our new spot on our own, my wife went for a wander and discovered half the park was empty towards the north? end. When our 2nd group arrived several of us went in again and asked about the vacant areas. After much discussion and having to tolerate more rudeness, they reluctantly let us all go in the 1 area together. Again they tried to make us feel like it was a huge hassle and they were doing us a big favour. Needless to say we will never return, and if asked about our experience there by other travellers and friends will give our honest opinion. Advice for the staff here, GET A DIFFERENT JOB. Customer service obviously isn't...
Read moreTitle: Disappointing and Discriminatory Experience for Dog Owners
Review: I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Woodman Point Caravan Park. As a devoted pet owner, I was excited to find a place where my furry companions and I could enjoy a peaceful vacation. However, the discriminatory treatment I faced due to my dogs left a sour taste in my mouth.
Despite having made prior arrangements for my dogs' stay, I was subjected to unnecessary scrutiny and treated as if we were causing a disturbance. It was disheartening to see my dogs being stigmatised merely for being animals, as if they were a nuisance rather than valued members of my family.
To make matters worse, we discovered numerous restrictions on our dogs' movements within the caravan park. It seemed as though the park management had little regard for the needs of dog owners, effectively creating an unwelcoming environment for those of us who cherish our pets.
I will not name one of the workers, but felt my dogs and myself were being targeted and encountered inconsistent enforcement of the pet policy and being penalised for minor infractions.
As a result of these negative experiences, I cannot in good conscience recommend Woodman Caravan Policy to fellow dog owners or anyone who values fair treatment. Discrimination against pets is unjust and reflects poorly on the management's commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.
I hope that Woodman Caravan Park reevaluates its policies and procedures to ensure that no guest is subjected to such unfair treatment based on their choice of companions. Until then, I urge dog owners to seek out alternative accommodations where their beloved pets will be truly welcomed and...
