Again, a terrific display. The house is as it once was, through painstaking research they have recreated what you see. Very well done. The live in caretaker (sorry, I forgot her name) was full of information and stories from the past. The house had been abandoned numerous times and was in a sorry state, but what they have pr we rented is again, well worth the short drive from town. Closes at 3pm weekdays I believe.

Just enjoying Devonshire tea with my Mum on the balcony enjoying the view of Coolgardie. The scones are delicious. The host was informative and very freindly the tour of the house is amazing with an abundance of old time relics. So relaxing enjoying the gardens, the shade and most importantly the scones! Fresh big and delicious. Thankyou! Tina and Lynnette Blackmore.

Fascinating historical grand homestead, interesting interior & exhibits plus the devonshire teas are lovely too. Certainly worth visiting and having a chat with the caretaker.

New caretakers We drove past at 10.30, it was closed, looked up website said open at 11. We went back at 11.30, sign said now open. We knocked 5 times, waited 15 mins, no answer, we could hear people inside. Rang info centre, they didn't know why they weren't answering At least answer the door and talk to us. Very...
