this place is pathetic tiny little derelict shop. The size of an old school pizza shop with the workers having the same attitude as that dude did at 11:45 pm years ago when you rang the pizza shop. “terrible” it’s not my fault you work in a terrible and environment don’t take it out on the customers vote with your feet and leave.

They’re not New Zealand. They were portraying themselves as British now because fish n chip “Woodbridge Deli fish n chips” right Next Door that’s right Next NEXTDOOR. Emily's wasn't there first and has never been New Zealand NZ orientated shop with NZ items and delicacies. it may have people that have NZ orientation and say ancestry, but Emilys was always semi- British serving compliments from other countries.

I have tried them several times, every Time with a long wait when I get there when they have told me to sometimes up to 90 minutes after I’ve placed the order. Then have arrived, and they haven’t even dropped my food into the oil, yet when I stand and wait you get nothing, but Stares of discussed why are you standing Waiting?

Well all 30 of us standing in the shop going out to the footpath and spread out in the car park waiting for their fish and chips while there Cars are in the carparks taking up car parks for valuable customers of other foods and...

Emily's is hands down thew best fish and chips in town. No, I'm not exaggerating - they are that good. The food itself is excellent. I don't know if it's the batter or the type of oil they use or how they cook it, but it perfect every single time. The fish is flaky and juicy and perfectly cooked. The chips are amazing. I usually order onion rings or squid rings to go with my hoki and chips - while the onion rings can be a little greasy, this is a problem I've encountered with every store that sells them, and it is no fault of the store. The staff are always welcoming and efficient, though I would recommend calling to place an order well in advance on Fridays, as waits for food can reach up to an hour. The store itself is pretty basic, but that's just fine - there's no need for fancy decorations here. The store also offers a selection of drinks and sauces to go with your meal. You may even get a free drink if you order enough food. If you are in the area and are looking for amazing food that offers great value for money, you'd be crazy to go...

Had a terrible time here, first I visited as a delivery driver. I waited the time for the order to be ready, when it got past the time displayed I went up and nicely asked if it was ready and I just missed them calling it out and they arrogantly declined making the order (which was already confirmed and ordered). I was told it wasn't their problem and that they would do nothing. I had to call the customer to ask to cancel the order. Throughout the entire time one of the cooks would just stare at me with an angry expression. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since the food delivery platform was relatively new and didn't leave a review. Tonight I was assigned another delivery here and again was arrogantly told that they would not make the customer's order, again I had to cancel the order.

I would like to add I saw at least 4 other drivers walk in and out afterwards, clearly these people are not great people and I would not recommend them, their wait times are...
