Wow what can, we say about this perfect place for a couple’s retreat. Firstly just a short drive from the town centre of Cowaramup you turn into the drive way and drive through about 500 metres of beautiful natural forest which opens out to a large grassed area, you see the three Modern Chalet plus the Wellbeing Studio and the Owners Residence. You get to your Chalet which we had the King Chalet, Chalet 2 you open the door to a well-appointed living area a fully equipped Kitchen the decor is fresh modern and very comfortable, a beautiful modern bathroom with separate toilet, a plush king bed. All you can hear is the birds in the natural forest. The place is so tranquil and peaceful and a perfect place to explore the great offering’s from the Margaret River Region with some of the best places to visit are with-in a 10 minute drive, some of the oldest winery’s, and great places to eat, make sure you visit some of Simone and Alan recommendations which you will get emailed before your stay. These chalets are divine

It is perfect for a winter getaway, with a view of the forest, wood fire and a luxury bath, beautiful chocolates, cheeses and wine left for us (even the toilet paper smelt beautiful) oh also wifi and netflix .

In the morning I had a wonderful massage by the owner herself and sound meditation- wow! I felt so pampered. I have shown a photo of her beautiful meditation room- only a few steps from our chalet.

After lunch we went for a drive and found a gorgeous winery just down the road (seriously just a few minutes!)– we felt like we were in the South of France. You must try it if you stay here!

It’s just a short drive from the town centre of Cowaramup where we found some wonderful restaurants, quirky shops and the owners, Simone and Alan send you a list of recommendations when you book so you can plan ahead.

I had the pleasure of staying at Simala Retreat. The private accommodation is situated in a secluded and beautiful bush setting, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. The peaceful and tranquil environment, combined with the romantic atmosphere, made for a very special stay.

The accommodation itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a well-stocked kitchen and a huge two-person bath.

The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. They provided us with plenty of information about the local area and made some great recommendations for places to visit and things to do.
