Its a beautiful island, and the blue and green colur of the clear water is quite a sight. However, the corals near the beach are mainly dead, with barely few remaining. After snorkelling for a while, you could only see a few fish or may be a sting ray; but honestly it is a bit of a disappointment, and sad at the same time. The corals near the beach as advertised and seen in google pics does not exist anymore. A 45 mins trip to the island along with snorkelling equipements hire costs $99/person. The main attraction being the corals, which as mentioned is unfortunately hardly there. There is a resort in the island which cost you $600per night; didn't stay there, but did not look like a 5 star resort worth $600.    Read moreIt's one of the best islands I've walked the circumference in full - predominantly over boulder fields and platforms of black stone. It's tough going especially with changing rock formations. Once you cross over the natural sand and rock bridge at around low tide, there's a track heading off to the right; from there you can see Green Island's famous surfing spot; after that, the path continues around to the southeast before ending. Thereafter, before reaching the bridge crossed at the beginning, it's all rock, all tumbled about. Its magnificent, so leave time to get around; with the birds watching!
