Fingal Heads is one of the most beautiful places to visit. The local Bundjalung First Nation people named the headland "Booningbah" which means "giant echidna" which is exactly what this headland looks like. it starts with a short walk though a tree tunnel up to the lighthouse. Here you can view down the south coastline and to the left views of the Gold Coast. Clean white sandy beaches, and although no patrols you can swim here. The water is that gorgeous crystal clear tropical aqua blue, it’s incredible. Lots of wildlife here to , dolphins , pelicans and whales now it’s winter time. The rock formations are so unique unlike any I’ve seen before. I was here on a rainy day and it was still incredibly beautiful. A very grounding place to relax and connect...

It was a good, long enough activity with a toddler although you need to hold them tight...

The short walk to the top is easy and surrounded by nature, and once you get there, the views are absolutely stunning. You can see the ocean stretching endlessly, with Cook Island in the distance and waves crashing against the unique basalt rock formations below. It’s a peaceful spot, perfect for just sitting and soaking in the fresh sea breeze. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some whales during migration season. It’s not overly crowded, which makes it even more special. Definitely...
