π Discovered a Stunning Stretch of Sea in the Gold Coast!
I was dragged along by my friends and accidentally stumbled upon this hidden gem of a sea area tucked away in the corner of the city! The sea view here is so beautiful that it's hard to take your eyes off it. Every inch of the shimmering waves is like a carefully polished gem, shining with a healing light.β Looking out at Cook Island (the small, delicate island above pic 3) from the viewing point, it's like a quiet emerald inlaid on a blue silk ribbon, complementing the surrounding sea views. The coast beneath our feet is made up of dark volcanic rocks. The waves have been (washing) against them day after day, carving out grooves of varying depths on the rock surfaces. Some places are also dotted with shells and seaweed, giving a visually primitive and mysterious feel. From time to time, scuba divers leap into the water π€Ώ, exploring the secrets of the seabed like fish; on the reefs not far away, several anglers are (focusedly) waiting for fish to bite, and their leisure and the surging of the sea form a wonderful contrast.β The most surprising thing is that looking out at the Gold Coast's coastline from this angle, the long beach is like a golden ribbon, gently embracing the blue sea. The tall buildings in the distance outline simple lines between the sea and the sky. The integration of nature and the city is beautifully (just right), which is really fascinating. Pressing the shutter casually results in a stunning blockbuster. Guys, this place is really perfect for taking photos!β β How to get thereβ Just locate Fingal Head Lighthouse π and you'll find it.β If you're coming from Surfers Paradise, π driving or taking an Uber is the most convenient. It takes about 40 minutes to arrive, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way; if you choose public transport, you need to transfer several times, and the whole journey takes more than 2 hours. However, it's also suitable for friends who want to enjoy the journey slowly, and maybe you can discover other scenery on the way.β After arriving at the destination, remember to take out your mobile phone map to confirm the route, because you have to climb a small hill, which is a bit like hiking. Along the way, you'll pass through some low bushes, and occasionally see small squirrels scurrying by. After about 15 minutes of walking, when you pant and climb to the top of the hill, your eyes will suddenly open up - the endless waves π are rushing towards the shore, and the shock at that moment is enough to offset all the fatigue.β p.s. My traveling companion also popularized that this sea actually belongs to New South Wales, which is slightly different from the Gold Coast in terms of regional division. I learned something new, thanks to my friend for the popularization~β #WeekendGetaway #StudyInAustralia #UQFreshman #GoldCoast #goldcoast #BrisbaneFun #BrisbaneWeekend #cookisland #BrisbaneSurroundings #SeaWaves #HealingSea #HealingScenery #live
