From what was an amazing casual, reasonably priced 9 hole golf course golf course has now been ruined with the prices of everything almost doubling in the last month under new ownership. Today we were charged $90 each for 18 holes with buggy (formerly $60 or so) and $48 for a 6 pack of beer (formerly $28). All the while there were consistently groups of 5-7 golfers allowed on the course, no etiquette, dress code, or marshalling, just an overcrowded, slow golf course. We would normally get out there once a month, but with the price gouging that is now occurring we won’t be going back. Devastating as it was such a nice place to go, the new owners obviously know nothing about golf or golfers as it’s now way overpriced relative to the local market where you would pay max $90 for a high quality 18 hole golf course with a limit of 4 per group and get discounts for a 6 pack of beer. Such a shame.

Have been playing here for 15 years and the new management know how to ruin a pristine course feels like I am playing at a beach while being in the hinterland. Photos attached show the hole 5 green and other tee boxes and holes with most other greens being the same. Course is now a goat track. Seems like they only care about maintaining the bike track. Utterly dumbfounded how they are able to charge $90 for two people with a cart with the course in the state it is in. Will not be wasting my money returning to this course. Very disappointing.

Wow , worst golf experience ever ,one star is one to many , The course while being in a amazing setting is a absolute state of disaster , But first of all the cost is way above what it should be , we booked online and told it was going to be $45 each for 18 and a cart , pretty reasonable I thought , arrived to the “pro shop “ which is stretch to say the least , which was staff less ,, after ten minutes of waiting around I asked the Chef if he could help find someone to serve us , which he couldn’t , so he gave us the cart keys and said just pay later , as we where about to head to the first tee a pro shop guy nonchalantly wondered in from where we don’t no but he didn’t seem to interested in “pro shopping “ , anyway we went back into sort payment to be told it’s now $65 each , we told him where were told $45 over the phone when we booked the 1230 Friday afternoon tee time but he didn’t want to know, Anyway off we went to the 1st tee to be greeted with a mud bath , thought to myself “well it can only get better from here “ but alas I didn’t , every tee box was a mudder , every green really baddly unkept , patchy,,holy , weedy , never had one true putt the whole round , cart paths aren’t any better , there are zero 100-150 meter makers , most of the blue tees didn’t exist so had to work out where we where supposed to tee off every other hole , the fairways where ok but not great , maybe 6/10 Hands down the worst course Iv played on , worst pro shop and worst service apart from the chef helping us out , All in all definitely won’t be recommending boomerang farm golf course to anybody ,in fact I would discourage it , plenty more far better options for the same price here on the Gold Coast , Time to up ya game and spend some of that over priced beer money on the course instead of on...

Don’t get me wrong, it was a beautiful golf course and scenery. Had a lovely lady help us at the cafe. However you only have two hours to complete the course if you have a golf cart? we were not informed by this. If we pay $180+ to play a round of golf we expect that we are allowed to complete the course! A older guy came on an electric scooter riding through where we were hitting our balls (also dangerous) and told us we needed to finish up with two holes to go as we were over the two hour time period. For one either get more golf carts or do not have bookings back to back if it is clear your customers are already back to back on the golf course! I am not going to start taking shots while people are still on the next hole because we have a strict time limit. Also, we already had to let two individuals through us because they were hitting balls at us while we were on the green! Incredibly dangerous as one came only a step away from myself. They should have done the same as we did and just wait for the group in front of us to finish. Such a shame as the groups around us were also ‘not allowed to finish the course’. Honestly for the price it is not worth it and very scammy to make us pay for 9 holes when we only had time to play 7. We get treated way better at the golf courses around...

Hey hey So have been on a bit of an adventure over the weekend. With going to a childhood memory the boomerang farm at the back of mudgeeraba on the gold coast. What brought me back here more than 40 years later. Well my niece got married there on Saturday. She and her now husband swapped vows in the forest on the farm. Was truly lovely. If not a bit warm. But we were given small white flick fans to use. The dinner was held in the , what can only be described as, the historical barn. Was great pioneer decor and plenty of wood accents. The staff were great and they helped wherever they could.

The food was buffet with ham, beef, prawns and chicken drumettes . There were cooked vege with salad also. Overall the food was pretty good and I don't think anyone went hungry. They followed with a mix of desserts and the wedding cake to sample.

Overall it was a great time. My niece had a trio who sang really well and kept people dancing. Was all really well done.. The boomerang farm is open most of the week. They have a golf course on the property so why not give it a go.

Well done folks was a great might had by all. No issues. No drama. Just really well...
