The Pines Golf Course — Local services in Gold Coast City

I played The Pines on Sep 15th, 2022. The conditions of the course were magnificent. A very challenging course where water can be found quite easily. Be sure to check the layout of every hole before you tee off. There are a few holes where fairways narrow down as water wides, particularly the 10th hole. It is an only members course, the only other way to play is by staying at Sanctuary Cove IHG. The staff is amazing, and I want to emphasize this as they look after you as soon as you arrive. Staff set up the golf car for you, tees, sand, and clubs ready in the car. Unfortunately, there are always exceptions, there is always that guy. He doesn't seem to welcome Hotel guests. He tries really hard to remind you that you are not a member. Pretty sure his name is Mitch. Other than that a stunning experience. After your round, be sure to have a drink at the bar upstairs, the view of the course from there is quite something.

There is a reason this course is consistently high rated. A fantastic setup with A grade everything. The course is really challenging with par 3's the highlight, outstanding in all ways. What an absolute pleasure this course is! Everything about it makes you want to stay here forever. From a perfect clubhouse to a perfect course. Playing here makes you feel that you are on a different planet away from the real world. Comes very close to perfection. Definitely up there with the best courses in Australia...
