My personal feeling is as follows. The staffs are in the club house restaurant are very rude. I did not know that I should not wear a cap in the restaurant. A white old waitress shouted me to take off my hat. I have never experienced that no hat policy in the club house. Although there is no hat policy, she should have explained gently rather than shouting.
Also if you want to play at the palms you should have enough time before the tee time. It is very complicated to find the Palms course 1st hole from the Pine course club house;they closed the Palms course clubhouse and you have to go to Pine course clubhouse via security gate. So, if you book the Pamls course, you should go to the Pines course club house. Because these courses are private courses they do not care the non-membership player. Read moreAs a guest from the Intercontinental hotel, we have access to the lap pool. It is a 25 m heated (27'C) freshwater outdoor pool with two lanes dedicated to lap swimmers. It was quite busy at 7.30 am and it seems as if the local swimmers are not keen on doubling up and sharing lanes, which was a bit odd to me as a daily lap swimmer. The pool is fenced and beautifully kept with pristine water and I was pleasantly surprised by the flags as most informal lap pools lack this important detail. The clock was located further away from the lap lanes and made timing a bit difficult. I was absolutely devastated only to find out 4 days later that it was actually a public golf course...i was furious as I had to leave the next day...
