Had a terrible experience with the male dentist (Angus Wong) today, normally dont write reviews but after multiple things he did I started to write a list of all these inappropriate things and it just kept going:
Walks out of the room 3x without telling us
Didn't warn about injection, just stabbed and squeezed
He treated my mum (the patient) like a toddler despite being told she's had multiple teeth removed before. She is 55 years old and has always had the gas, she requested it for this but he made her feel uncomfortable for requesting it and acted very judgmental for the request
Told to make no noise after jamming a needle in gum without warning "if you make noise I can't do this"
Repeatly told her how difficult the tooth removal is and that if she doesn't behave correctly he couldn't do it right
Based all his judgement on her being on anxiety meds and the gas request, despite her staying calm and sat still throughout the whole procedure and she remained very respectful despite his demeanor
Repeatedly told her not to move when she wasn't moving, as if he was just assuming she was going to be difficult
Didn't really explain the procedure and didn't walk her through anything that was happening
Didn't once mentioned his capabilities and that he can actually do the job! Knowing she had anxiety, he just tried to talk her out of the procedure
Told me to move out of the way and just sit down, despite me being at the end of the bed and just holding her hand while they were at the head of the bed.
Extremely rude.. and not just to us but his assistant too
Made us feel uncomfortable and like we were wasting his time for being there
Spent 30 minutes trying to convince her not to do it because she has anxiety
only took 20 minutes to actual get the tooth out, despite the appointment taking an hour
Didn't explain any of the after care and anytime we asked a question he seemed annoyed like he was trying to get us out of the room
Only positive was the nice assistant and...
Read moreThought this dentist was good, I had missed a couple of appointments due to being unwell and was told to stay home and not attend the appointment, and then another time because my son had to go to hospital for an asthma attack. Apparently these aren't good enough reasons, and am required to put a deposit down because my most recent one I was admitted into the psych ward, got a phone call 1 week prior to my appointment I told them that I was in the ward for suicide watch, so she said she cancelled my appointment, and to call back when I get out. I didn't receive any text message, as my appointment was apparently cancelled. I called up today, as I am out and needed to rebook, to be told that I didn't show up And missed my appt and apparently it was short notice, so now I need to put down a deposit. Seriously? Maybe if you did your fkn jobs properly, or could write something down, you would know that I was required to reschedule due to being in a fkn psych ward. Jamie Lee or however you spell it, learn proper customer service you are one rude person and I suggest next time, have some compassion and understand a person's situation and your staffs poor work ethics before you talk down to me. Going somewhere else now and I will be contacting the head department for Pacific smiles to complain about how you speak to people and the incompetent staff member who called me and didn't write down that she told me she cancelled my app without prejudice, and to call back when I'm out of the ward but actually failed...

During my appointment, the service provided by Shayla was both professional and calm. Her non-invasive approach as the dental assistant and the overall flow of the service were outstanding. Dr Vaneeta Sharma communicated clearly, and her explanations of the required services were exceptional. She took my dental history and personal needs into account, working with me to establish a realistic plan for moving forward. I particularly appreciated how the appointment stayed on track with its intended outcomes.
Dr Vaneeta’s ability to understand my intake form and tailor the appointment to my individual needs while remaining focused on the purpose of the visit was refreshing and easy to navigate. I left feeling a sense of accomplishment and confidence in proceeding.
Thank you to everyone for making my dental visit such an enjoyable experience! I look forward to being a long-term patient at this...
