Mother Of Ducks Lagoon Nature Reserve — Local services in Guyra

Free camping. Close to the shops and cafes of Guyra and a lovely walk around the reserve. You are very close the the bowling club with two local supermarkets in town to stock up. Toilets and pump out available. Go check out the old station which has been kept fresh and the museum too. Currently the Lagoon is chockers with bird life now the Lagoon is full of water again. Come check it out especially at golden hour for all you budding photographers and it's awesome when the most and fog roll in. Sooo good to see it...

We stayed in the "Mother of ducks nature reserve" RV friendly free overnight rest area. There is drinking water, picnic tables and a toilet dump point next to the toilet block. we arrived very late in the afternoon setup walked the area til dark. Then strolled about 150 meters down the road to the Bowles club for a drink and a lovely meal in the morning we woke to the beautiful sounds of wild birds and spent several hours strolling through the nature reserve before heading off. It's a beautiful marshland area with a beaut golf course through. Though you must walk out to the furthest pagoda to get the best view over the marshland. Good park with lots of BBQ Facilities toilets and dump point Plus the benefit to free camp for self contained motor homes. This town is to be congratulated for these...
