Please see photos as evidence for my review. To all plant lovers out there, do be cautious about this company. It’s is unethical (doesn't seem to care for plants' life) and disrespectful. I ordered the an XL fig tree $150 (the most expensive plant I ever bought) with express delivery. I live in Melbourne. When the plant arrived, it was half dead. I emailed them the pictures (didn’t ask for refund, just show them what happened). Their reply is ā€œthey worked very hardā€ and it is normal for the delivery to take long and for plants to arrive in such a state, and it may take a couple of weeks for the plant to get back to health. There is no apology at all. It seems normal to them for the plant to arrive half dead and I should not be surprised about that, rather I should just wait patiently for the plant to come back to life. I want to say, if you know the courier may take long and if you know the plant may be dying on the way, please put that information on your website, please tell your customers in advance that the plant are very likely to arrive in a bad state, before taking our money, or at least customers can make an informed decision or not surprised. If you care about your plants, please don’t send them this far knowing they will be dying on the way. You blamed the courier but didn’t you chose the company yourself? As a business, you took no responsibility for your product quality, for the plant, for customer, for the business decision you make. Do not sell plants if you don’t care about them. They are not clothes or something. They are lives. Do not sell plants across states if you know the pants may suffer or even die. Do not provide customer service if all you do is blaming other service and make customer pay for your profit-driven and unethical business decisions. To all the plant customers out there, this company charges much higher than other plant companies. And they are irresponsible and quite rude (in a passive aggressive way) in their email communication. Do look around and support more ethical business. Added comments on the 7th Feb: after seeing my google review, the business owner emailed me trying to get a good understanding of the plant's state. Upon reviewing the case, they offered a refund and acknowledged that it was not usually expected for a plant reach customer in such a distressed state. They shared their disappointment regarding the state of the matter, offered refund and promised continual support. I thank them for the change in their attitude and actions on this matter and I wish both their plants and their business do better in the future.

I bought a pink princess philodendron from these folks recently and firstly let me just say it's stunning! I've bought a few plants on-line recently and she is by the far the healthiest and most mature plant I've received. The fact that it was in a decent sized pot was also a surprise (that's more my inability to deal with maths). My whole experience with the good plant co was amazing - Alicia was wonderful in giving me advice even for plants that I didn't purchase from the good plant co. My expectations were set as to what to expect, the instructions that came with Precious were clear and I was told that if I had any questions at any stage to just reach out. That to me is just amazing customer service, it shows that they care about their about customers and their products - this may age me *laughs* it's like dealing with your local corner store where the proprietors actually care . I will definitely be buying from them again. (the photo is a week after precious arrived... and she's been watered once)

I’ve purchased from the Good Plant Co. a few times and only have positive things to say! Customer service is always very helpful and the quality of the plants are amazing even after travelling via post. This fiddle leaf fig has been one of my favourite purchases, it is thriving and growing so big! Would definitely recommend to any plant lover or someone looking for the perfect gift 🪓

Unfortunately I am having to leave a poor review for this company despite very prompt and friendly customer service. I bought a large, and sadly for what it was, very over priced, Monstera. It took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did, many of its leaves were yellowing or bruised, it was growing sidewards, was extremely root bound and had powdery mildew. After emailing photos to customer service, they told me my plant was in fact very healthy, that the yellow leaves were just old leaves that were dying back as new leaves grew, that all it needed was a stake to promote upward growth and that the powdery mildew was just water marks and ... to wipe them off with neem oil (a substance known for treating powdery mildew). Now I am not an expert on indoor plants so it has taken me 2 months to leave this review as I wanted to watch this plant grow. 2 months on my plant is healthy and finally starting to grow new leaves, but that is not because it was a healthy plant. It is because I pruned off the sideward growth (which could not merely just be propped up with a stake), treated it with a few rounds of antifungal, re-potted it after having to cut away its previous pot and fertilised it. Those 'old yellowing leaves that were dying back' are now green and big, the mildew is gone and the plant is growing well. I should not have had to rehabilitate a plant (or doubt myself that what was seeing was a sick plant) after paying almost twice what I would pay for a healthier plant at bunnings or my...
