We ordered via doordash last night. I had been wanting to try them for a while because it sounded pretty good. I also like the way they're so funny in the naming of pizzas in the menu. I expected to get some good pizza 🍕. We had the fun guy pizza, home alone and cowabunga with the pork ribs. All pizzas were too salty, while the bases were disappointing, too chewy and the dough probably needs salt. Maybe its supposed to make up for each other but that didn't work . There was no tomato sauce to taste, a very thin layer that didn't do anything. Not enough toppings, too much salt. The pork ribs were disappointing too, felt a bit frozen in the middle. Pur fault though that we ordered it as not many places do them right they are time consuming so many not a good thing to have on the menu if can't spare the time? First time try didn't go well. really hope this review is constructive as I totally wish the business no harm. But if this is what I get i might as well go with dominoes and pay half as much for a little more flavor. But I guess 🤷 different people like different things. I usually one take the time to review for good experiences, as don't like being the person who only writes when its not good but this warranted i make...
Read moreWow. Just wow. Last night around 6 pm, I had what I can only describe as next-level pizza from Dough Boys Kinross, and I’m still thinking about it today. Whoever was behind the scenes tossing dough and working that oven deserves serious recognition – you’re a master of your craft.
The base was spot on – light, fluffy, yet crisp with just the right amount of chew. The toppings were generous without going overboard, and every bite was bursting with flavour. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and handled with care. Honestly, it was like someone took the idea of pizza and decided to turn it into art.
Special shoutout to the pizza chef who was on last night – if there’s a Hall of Fame for pizza-making, you’ve just earned your spot. You’ve raised the bar, and I’ll definitely be back (probably way too often now).
If you're anywhere near Kinross and haven’t tried Dough Boys yet, do yourself a favour – go. You’ll...
Read moreWow, hardly know where to start. Keep hearing great things about this place so finally tried it- what a disappointment. Ordered a rambo, garlic bread and jalapeno poppers through the website to pick up, eta 20 mins. Order status didn't change from 'order being prepared' so after nearly 40 mins went down there, turns out order is waiting to be picked up. Pizza base ok, toppings uneven and apart from a LOT of ham (mostly concentrated in the middle of the pizza) and a few random pepperoni slices, not much else on it. Garlic bread was warm-ish but the garlic butter was still unmelted in most places, and a half of the slices barely had any at all. Jalapeno poppers turned out to be the highlight of the meal, and the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Honestly could have had a better (and cheaper) meal at domino's, don't think I'll be wasting my time or...
