Absolutely blown away by Norwood Cafe and Takeaway! If you're looking for a place that combines delightful food, fantastic coffee, and an atmosphere that's as warm as a sunny day, look no further. First things first: the staff. Oh my goodness, the staff! I've been to places where the service is good, but at Norwood, they take it to another level. It’s like everyone working there is your best friend who you've known for years. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles that could melt the polar ice caps. I swear, if I’d stayed any longer, they might have invited me to their next family barbecue. Now, let’s talk burgers. Holy moly! These aren’t just burgers; these are culinary masterpieces. Each bite is like a little symphony in your mouth. The buns are perfectly toasted, the patties are juicy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. I had the Norwood Special, and let me tell you, it was love at first bite. My taste buds were doing a happy dance and I’m pretty sure I heard them singing ā€œHallelujah.ā€ And the coffee? Don’t even get me started on the coffee. It’s like they have a magical barista elf hidden in the back, sprinkling a little bit of magic into every cup. Smooth, rich, and just the right amount of kick to get you through the day. I’m convinced they could turn a tea drinker into a coffee aficionado with just one cup. But wait, there's more! The decor is charming and cozy, the perfect place to relax and unwind. It feels like a second home, but with better food and no dishes to wash. The vibe is so friendly and laid-back, you almost expect to see people lounging in slippers and bathrobes. And don't even get me started on the prices. I’ve spent more at places that served me food on a stick. Norwood Cafe and Takeaway offers gourmet quality at prices that won't make your wallet cry. So if you’re in the area and in need of a pick-me-up, whether it’s a meal, a cup of coffee, or just a smile, Norwood Cafe and Takeaway is the place to be. They’ve got the friendliest staff, the tastiest burgers, and coffee that could wake the dead. Five stars just doesn’t seem enough – this place is pure gold!

This place reminded me of NZ fish and chips. Ordered online and drove to collect. Had the Vietnamese rice rolls with pork $9. Had the pork burger and fresh seafood basket and gummy fish add on. Everything was great! Rice rolls was thick and delicious. Pork burger bread is light and well toasted with nice succulent and sweet pulled pork. The battered fish was fresh and you could taste the sweetness of the fish. Chips was generous too. Good find and worth the trip to pick up.

What a bargain for brunch from this local takeaway store. I recently moved here for work and coincidently found this place; their juicy beef burger with the lots was cooked to perfection. I wouldn't expect a fine dining dish from a local store, and it's great to support our local. Great works, guys. p.s. they also use best coffee beans

First time orderer read the good reviews thought this should be good. The pictures the calamari rings looked huge were at least fresh. The tassie scallops were not tasmanian but japanese or similiar. the chips very very dry. rice paper rolls no flavour punch lettuce carrot noodles and chicken. but the blue grenadier fish was not freshly battered rubbery and not a nice experience. My honest review of a range of...
