The senior dr politely (appeared as though he held a rotten oyster in his mouth) told me he didn't want me as a patient! His reasoning was that after i suffered a shattered maleollus a broken fibula and a broken meta tarsal of the opposite leg my requirement of pain relief during this period resulted in me being flagged by medicare as an abuser of narcotics! Medicare had made this damming accusation because once arriving home from hospital and having no way to go to see a doctor i used the newly promoted home dr service several times. This meant that i saw several different drs between December and march, a factor of which i had no control over as this is how such businesses operate. I went to Wellcare Medical Centre Kingston practice in hope of finding a dr i believe would work with me and genuinely cared. I tried several in logan and none of them are truly concerned with patient wellbeing but only in getting you in and out as fast as possible so they can make ss much money as possible. Apparently seeking a worthy Dr is considered Dr shopping as this is what this senior dr insinuated i was doing. He also began spouting information about women and their "typical healthcare behaviour" making me feel as though I was strange and weird because i didn't fit primarily into this category. Overall this Dr made me feel extremely upset with his inaccurate diagnosis and his sexist and stereotypical attitude. I guess the up side is he revealed these characteristics very quickly so i may continue my sesrch for a gp who possess the degree of intelligence i expect and cares about...
Read moreHorrible! Extremely unprofessional! After waiting approx 20-25 minutes to been seen (there was no other patients there besides me) i finally get seen by the Dr. I walk into the room and not even 2 seconds in her personal mobile phone starts to ring (phone should have not even been on her during consultation or have even been on) she then decides that it would be appropriate to answer it and walk out of the room and have a full conversation, 10 minutes fly by and at this point i got fed up and decided that i would not waste my time and i would leave, upon leaving i see her in the other room sitting down STILL having a conversation on the phone! Never in my life have i ever experienced such unprofessional behavior! I will never come here again and i will definitely let everyone know about my experience! Oh and there was also "FOOD" in her office extremely unhygienic for such environment! I didn't even get any help from the Dr. nor did i even get the chance to speak two words to the her so i am unsure of her name to make a complaint! If you are after a professional Dr/environment that you can trust head to "All Care Medical Centre Kingston" on Juers st, they are amazing! i made the mistake to come here (Wellcare Medical Centre) because my local medical centre had been...
Read moreI had a vasectomy yesterday from Dr. Amoli of Wellcare Medical Centre. I watched tens of vasectomy videos before on Youtube in the past few months to get some ideas about vasectomy. Mostly it takes 10 minutes to have a vasectomy done and you only lose a few drops of blood but my case was totally different yesterday. My operation took 30 minutes which is 3 times more than usual operation time and I lost plenty more blood. I saw a gauze full of blood on the table but I think there were a few more of them in the bin. Most doctors normally give 4 anesthetic shots but I got 6 shots because I still felt pain after having 4 shots so it was extra pain for me. I felt pain 20 minutes after my operation and it went on for another 10 more minutes. It was a very terrifying and miserable operation for me. Dr. Amoli did not really explain to me what happened and what was going on. He wanted to see me today again to see if I am ok. I could not sleep last night because I was in pain and I was very scared. When he checked me today he said everything was ok. He said some people lose more blood when they have a vasectomy so it takes more operation time. I am very disappointed with my operation here so I would not recommend...
