Crocs Playcentre Epping — Local services in Melbourne

An ok place with a lot more potential.

Unfortunately this place is ready to charge a public holiday surcharge, plus credit card surcharges on top. Something I find s bit annoying, but that seems to be the way things are, however, my real frustration with this place is that they charge these fees, but don't maintain their equipment. For at least 6 months half of the ball area air games haven't been working, 2 of the ball guns don't work, and only one of the air machines works in the ground floor area, this has had at least one or 2 items not working for over a year, but now, it's even worse where only 1 ground floor machine and 2 ball guns on the upper level are working.

Supervision by the staff could be a bit better too as done parents don't monitor their kids well enough, and it's not the job of other parents to look after them, so if staff keep more of an eye on things, hopefully that would reduce the kids climbing the slides without socks, when other kids are trying to come down then, and needing to avoid the kids in the way.

Having the muffin break there is great for a coffee and muffin, it probably equates to one of the stars in this reviews rating.

We will likely come back, but the place really does...

so we booked the party after inquiring two consecutive days on third day, paid deposit all went well! on fourth day Melody called me up saying we overbooked so we had to cancel your booking! it was alright till then I could Understand that owing to the reason the computer was down which cant be for 3 days and if that was so you should have never BOOKED! and no way two people could give me same time slot right! but anyways! the messed began with she offering me BAKING PARTY for 12+ BOYS age group! and when I said I am not looking for baking party she said she will give me $ off! and made it look like she was doing favour to me and said why not! I don't understand whats wrong and started laughing at me! Thats where I knew these people lack empathy and respect for other people. She did not care we sent out invites nor that boy will be heartbroken. We had to go through lot of unnecessary hassle so all the kids invited! She was just happy that she gave me option and did favour to me! Due to covid lot of businesses are struggling and people like this do not deserve our time and money I would rather give it someone more human...

I had my sons 5th birthday last weekend at Crocs in Epping and was a little disappointed with the service we received given how much we paid for the party. It was very rushed and were told we had to vacate the party room after an hour even though I noticed there wasn’t even a party booked after us. It was empty after us all afternoon. Furthermore the food we ordered for the kids was quickly packed up even though many kids hadn’t eaten yet or some were playing and would come back looking for food to find the party room empty. When I asked the staff where all the platters of sandwiches and other food had gone I was told they were thrown out. We weren’t even asked if we wanted to take the leftovers home and I know for a fact there were multiple sandwiches platters that the kids hadn’t even touched. I had some guests who turned up to the party a bit late to find no food left for them so I had to order additional meals for them. What a complete...
