BUYER BEWARE. If you could leave a negative rating this RV sales business would be best represented. Unfortunatly you have to tick at least one star. I purchase things believing people will be honest and upfront and these guys "will appear so" ... sadly they are a little like an onion you keep peeling back layers and sometimes it's just rotten inside. JUST THE MIDDLE MEN AFTER YOUR HIP POCKET!! They do not service their vehicles prior to selling them on. They must pay well for their RWC's as I took my "New OLDER putchase" to 2 independent RW service ppl for confirmation of issues and both would not have passed the vehicle.
I now own a rather expensive 10 yr old vehicle that is basically a tin can on wheels. Purchased start of 2020, first I attempted to find someone from the fires that had lost everything to GIVE my old car too .... harder than you think ppl :/ Anyway I digress....
Aircon substandard (filter completly blocked) Tires substanded No steering wheel function buttons actually work. Engine covered in oil (we're you cannot physically see without putting up on a hoist) ? So questionable leaks somewhere! Spare key broken (taped over so you couldn't see)! Needs new wipers. No service sticker. False and miss leading advertising. Advertised as "one owner only" yet it's had at least 3 lots of plates. Contaminated coolant. The list goes on and on! Also advertised with a winch that just doesn't exist. Empty tank. Drivers seatbelt doesn't retract etc. Etc. Etc. Etc.
I have spoken with consumer affairs "fair trading" they recommend definatly taking action. Yet I'm still debating if I can be bothered. As after dealing firstly with their "Let's ignore issues", phone calls and emails, its already been months getting this far, exactly (NOWHERE) they have then contacted me finally via email and attempted to placate me by offering substandard "fixes" for some of and bits of the issues that should never EVER have been issues in the first place.
I'm not just a disgruntled buyer, I paid cash (more than a fair deal for them!) I am seriously disgusted, over the years I've heard the jibes about trusting used car sales ppl .... I'm sure you know how it goes..... and I have since learned of a friend that also made a 20k purchase only to have a bit of junk sitting in his driveway that requires an entire new engine. It's going nowhere fast or slow!
These guys take the cake! I should and still could go and buy a brand new Paj, but really didn't want all the new bells and whistles. So PLEASE PPL take heed .... Do your homework. Read EVERYTHING. Get independent advise. Then Re-think AGAIN BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM...
Read moreI recently purchased a pre-owned Toyota 200 Series Landcruiser through Megamart RV Sales. From my very first contact with the Sales Executive, Edlee, the service from her was absolutely great. Edlee organised a vehicle mechanical check (with a nearby mechanic), my vehicle finance package (through her existing contacts) and vehicle insurance with SunCorp. Throughout the whole process, which became quite tedious in parts, Edlee was friendly, understanding and most importantly, never too busy to help me out and keep me updated on the progress of getting the vehicle to me in the quickest possible time. She even delivered the vehicle to me in Prahran, which as most of you will know, is a hell of a drive from Packenham, where Megamart RV is located. Upon delivery I opened the glove box to check the service books were in there, and I found a little hand written note from Edlee wishing me congratulations along with a little bag of lollies (photo attached)..That sort of personal service is rare these days, so I take my hat off to Edlee on this kind gesture. It is only a minor thing but geez it made me feel good. In addition to Edlee's fine work, I had a minor problem, with the vehicle winch not working... a few months down the track. Notwithstanding, the vehicle was out of its warranty period, Greg, the General Manager at Megamart RV, agreed to pay for a replacement winch to make sure I got what I had hoped for in the start. Again, this sort of follow service goes well beyond the call of duty and I cant thank Greg enough for this gesture, to make sure I was happy. All in all, I would strongly recommend Megamart RV as a great place, and a great bunch of people, from whom to buy your next RV. 10 out of 10 from me guys ...well...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dealing. with Robert , and Greg. Lewis, from Megamart RV. Sales in relation to the sale of my motorhome. I. had my motorhome advertised. for sale on a car site, and was contacted by Robert via phone. After an initial conversation,. an agreed. price was reached, and shortly thereafter I was contacted by Greg Lewis, finance Manager, from the company. Shortly thereafter, a deposit was transferred into my bank account and arangements were made for the collection of the van. A week later Greg flew from Melbourne to the Gold Coast where I picked him up from the Airport. Greg inspected the van, and promptly transferred the full amount to my account,a very smooth transaction indeed. As you can imagine, I was very sceptical at first, but I can. assure you that these people are 100 percent genuine. So If you are contemplating selling your van/motorhome, contact these guys first. They give you are fair market price of what your van is worth, and there is no bullshit attached, with very smooth and extremely swift transactions.. I would highly recommend these people, and business, to any one contemplating selling. These are no nonsense, no bullshit people. The kind I like to deal with.No time wasters here, Highly...
